I'd say Floyd, but he'll never be remembered as much as Tyson.

well I can remember ESPN rating Floyd over Tyson in their 50 GOAT fighters a few years ago with Floyd being #48 and Tyson being #50 respectively

Tough question. Legacy as in wins and resume or legacy as in who will people remember. Tyson is probably the most popular boxer behind Ali in the world. I don't know one person who doesn't know who Mike Tyson is, but I'm sure I can find a person who doesn't know Floyd

I'd say Tyson. To unify the undisputed heavyweight title is no easy task and he was an excellent boxer who did not duck many opponents. Mayweather is one of the most skilled boxer I have seen, but his resume is terrible in a time where he had the chance to fight the best in the world but decided not to. He did duck many fighters and continues to do so even in his prime.

Tyson is the most popular boxer ever besides Ali and maybe Joe Louis during his time but there's no ****ing debate about Floyd ranking far higher on the all time greatest list. Floyd's accomplished far more and is better overall fighter, anyone can see that....I didn't think this was even up for debate, many people don't even have Tyson in the top 50 fighters of all time, whereas just about every list I've seen includes Floyd. Tyson barely cracks top 10 heavyweights ever IMO

Floyds resume is far better too.

What ****ing country do you live in?

Floyd's biggest win is a SD with an old DLH, and that was because DLH was in the fight.

People are confusing legacy with popularity. Tyson is world-renowned because he is a psycho. He is infamous for his activty OUTSIDE the ring, not inside it. Yeah inside the ring, he destroyed a lot of tomato cans and people adored the way he fought... But accomplishments in the ring are what ultimately defines a legacy. And what Floyd has done in the ring shits all over what Tyson has done in the ring.

Floyd's legacy is winning multiple titles in multiple divisions, while maintaining an undefeated record through 40 fights. Tyson's legacy is beating up cans, losing to Buster Douglas, failing to beat Holyfield on two occasions, and biting off an ear. Truth.
