But yeah, he'll loook as tubby as ever. I heard he can put on a stone in a day, doesnt surprise me hes so heavy.

I see what you mean and of course i still post about him but tbh i won't have the enthusiasm to post about him just like he doesn't have the enthusiasm to be a professional athlete. He only has himself to blame...i'm a fan but he's typical of heavyweights and it's a big reason why i prefer the lower weights.

Agreed, the klits are big and in shape and are the best in the division, and Adamek and Haye who are considered the next best in the division are smaller BUT ALSO in shape !

it aintno coincidence that the tophw are the ones in decent condition

Fury looked fat as **** tonight.

He boxed like a Wlad clone for the 1st for rounds then he reverted to the same old Fury. The commentators even mentioned his arm punching

I know where your coming from but at the same time its without a base in logic.

You sight there size as the factor for them being good, well obviously lol, also you speak of the style they adopt but yet again its obvious.

Do you think if Lennox was 6'0 he would have fight the same way? Do you if Ali was 5'9 he would have fought the same way?

Do you think if Tyson didnt have that knock out power he would have fought the same way?

Do you honestly believe George Foreman was a good boxer from skills perspective?

The answer is no......Lennox was great because of his size, and skills along with it.

Ali was a physical phenomenon who speed, reflex, skill was something else.

George Foreman starting strength/ static strength was out of the world. No man ever bullied him around even in his 40s.

Tyson was an incredible puncher...........so citing that they wouldn't apply there style of fighting if they weren't so big is redundant and not even worth mentioning. There size is an asset just like Formean size was, just like Lennox Lewis was. Just like Holyfield toughness was an asset for him,

Ali was bigger than the fighters he faced so was Joe Louis.

It just a fact, that the skill set they posses and there size are there assets.

Holmes was 6'4 and 210lbs, without that reach and height he would not have been as effective.

Do you think Frazier would have adopted his style of fighting if he were 6'5?

To point out a flaw in a fighter because they use one of there assets is a weak view point.

Its like me saying Sonny Liston wouldnt have been as good if he were 150 pounds............well obviously fellas.

    So I'm wrong?

    Oh wait, I'm right!

Charming!! I'm so obviously right I shouldn't have bothered making the post!!

I'm not disputing any of that. We were talking about styles and I merrely pointed out, and clarified later, that size is a major part of the Klitchos style/ tactics. It wasn't a criticism or a comparision to Lewis, Alis or Foremans styles it was, as you say, a fairly obvious observation.

Thankyou. Also side note Ali was 6'3........but still in his first reign he fought guys that were the following and remember Ali is 6'3.

    Sonny Liston 6'1 218 (Ali weight 210)
    Sonny Liston 6'1 215 (Ali weight 206)
    Floyd Patterson 5'11 1/2 196 (Ali weight 210)
    George Chuvalo 6'0 216 (Ali weight 214)
    Henry Cooper 6'1 188 (Ali weight 201)
    Brian London 6'0 201 (Ali weight 209)
    Karl Mildenberger 6'1 1/2 195 (Ali weight 204)
    Clevland Williams 6'3 210 (Ali weight 212)
    Earnie Terrel 6'6 212 (Ali weight 212)
    Zora Folley 6'1 202 (Ali weight 211)

Now if you look from a quantitative perspective then not one fighter was bigger than Ali in any real sense. Liston outweight him on both occasions along with Chuvalo but were both smaller in height. The only man taller than him Terrell was the same weight as Ali.

The point people are making when they say the Klitshko's size is what makes them good I think what they mean is if the other guys were the same size they would beat them.

Vitali for example gets away with leaning back to avoid punches against small guys but against a big guy like Lewis his face ended up messed up despite Lewis being over the hill and not best prepared.

If guys are the same size as wlad his long reach doesn't become such an issue and it isn't so hard to get past his jab and hit him. Look at wlad sanders.

Looking forward to Wlad - Haye. I think then we will see just how good Wlad is.
