Great reasoning.He could finish Omar but Manfredo who is smaller and doesnt hit half as hard as Omar will still be there come the 12thatsch

The key to victory for Manfredo is movement. He should look to stay on his toes, land a couple of jabs and jump back out again. Due to Lacy's lack of mobility he could make it a frustrating night for the Florida man. In and out is a tactic I'm sure Freddie Roach has been working on but if he stands in front of lacy and tries to trade then he'll get knocked out.

All this said: My prediction: Lacy ko in 8. Lacy is a top ten fighter at 168, Manfredo isn't.

 

Anyone actually placed money (not the v kind) yet? If online, where so? I am in the US and have checked a lot of sites but none of them are taking bets on this fight.

Physically Lacy will be fine no doubt about that, just mentally If he's In with another skilled boxer the Calzaghe fight could haunt him.

 

Lacy will win by KO early because manfredo isn't slick enough to out box him or hit hard enough to keep Lacy off him.

 

Lacy will be looking to make a statement, and Manfredo stinks. Lacy KO 3.

I will be rooting for Manfredo, but Lacy will probably win by late round TKO. Manfredo has trouble with his defense especailly the right hand (see the David Banks fight) but hopefully Freddy has been working on that. Hope it is at least an entertaining fight.
