Dumb thread.Everybody knew Pascal fade after 5-6 rounds.And its wasnt so hard to see that he rely mostly on his atlheticism to fight and not so much on technique.So why are you surprised that a crafty veteran like Hopkins made Pascal look like an amateur?
I agreed with Tarver's scorecard, 112-114 Pascal. The two knockdowns were to much for Hopkins to overcome, but he did a great job. Bute beats them both. Rematch ASAP! The first knockdown was not from a punch behind the head, it was from a punch on the ear. Watch the replay, I have several times.
dont know what happened. Realy, Pascal looked lost at times. So either one of those body punch hurt bad and he wasnt able to breath properly or hand injury or something, or his fight plan wasnt good and he didnt know how to adapt, but if he would not have won the first 3-4 rounds with two KD he would have lost. Hopkins seems to be one of those guys that fight in the level of his opponent. After his last two fights i didnt give him any chance, but he fought a hell of a fight. Very good fight.
The only one doing anything worth a **** is Allan Green and Odlanier Solis, and the deck is clearly stacked against them. Floyd and Manny be ducking though.
