I had it 114-112 Hopkins. Home fight, Pascal is current champ, could have given him the 5th or the 12th if I had been somewhat biased towards him - 113-113 in that case.

A great fight indeed. As soon as the fight was over I clearly said Hopkins won and was robbed. Now looking back, it's a close fight that could go either way, the knockdown in the first round ruined it, it was a punch to the back of the head and not a knockdown. I still give the fight to Hopkins, he out-landed him and was pushing forward all the way, Pascal looked terrible late and was rocked and stunned many times. Download and watch the fight again, you honestly can't still insist Hopkins lost.

I thought it was a great fight. It was definitely the best technical fight of the year. I don't see what the problem is.

I'm not particularly incensed by the MD verdict, but let's put it like this. It's a hell of a lot harder to support a card that has Pascal winning by two points than it is to support one with Hopkins winning by two points.

I have to watch the 5th again closely. I gave it to Pascal along with 1,2, and 3. I really don't know which rounds you can say were clearly his after that. The 12th was close but Bernard had the edge there also, even after he did start gassing.
