Heavyweights - Who is the best undefeated prospect/contender?

Emanuel Steward knows the stuff to train tall fighters. If Fury stays with him, he maybe have a good chance at heavyweight.

 

Boytsov could reign the cruiserweights for years and years. Too bad he choose to be a heavyweight...

 

Can't ever see him being on Pulev, Helenius, Glazkov level.

No mention of David Price?

 

I think Boystov would probably beat everyone on that list, from what I've seen. But he is still pretty young, so they are obviously bringing him along slowly, but may be a bit too slowly.

 

Potvetkin is certainly the best right now. But if I had to choose future, lets say 5 years from now I would go probably Deontay or Fury. Both are big strong guys who should be able to physically manhandle most of the smaller guys in the division.

 

I read in german newspaper Boytsov´s hand is injured and i seems he had to hang up the gloves.

 

Really? Currently? I know he just had surgery.

 

Povetkin is too old to still be considered a prospect/contender.

I think the guy with the most potential to beat the Klitschkos on that list is Helenius. He has the size, good skills, he is young and still developing.

Boytsov also deserves consideration.

Seth Mitchell still has a long way to go and might never be elite but he is on his way up. Training and working on conditioning. He was a bit pissed that Sykes basically gave up in his last fight. But he'll be back quick I'm sure with another step-up

 

True! And if he starts lifting weight with Wlad he might get so BIG he could end up knocking himself out!! Seriously he does have a good chance if he sticks with Steward. Guys who are willing to move to another continent to get the chance to improve and be the best got my respect. Especially when they already are money-makers in their own country.
