Personally, I love watching Alves striking. It sucks when he gets controlled in grappling. I hope he improves his grappling cos on his feet he is dynamite.

Alves' striking is a good one. I like Palhares' leglocks, and Pettis' jump kicks of course ;)

I love to watch George Sotiropoulos work on the ground.

I'm not a fan of them in terms of admiring them on a technical level, but watching Shalorus throw punches is very entertaining. :yep

Alves grappling is actually pretty good, I think Fitch got lucky that he messed up the cut and had to kill himself to get as close as he did.

He is a top grappler but he got controlled decisively albeit against the best grapplers in his division. He does well to survive and stand up - I think that is part skill, part extreme strength.

Maia and Jacare's grappling is just fantastic to watch. Maia is one of the few guys that other fighters do not want to takedown because they he is so dangerous off his back.

Anderson Silva's striking when he is motivated

    Cung Le's kicks

New guy in the UFC who fought in UFC124. John Makdessi. That guy put on a TKD clinic on his opponent. He fought on the prelims making his debut. Awesome striker. Dude was landing axe kicks, jumping spinning back kicks to the head, clean punches, awesome tai kwon do fighter. You dont see too many of those guys who are effective at that level. His opponent looked 2 weight classes above him. Makdessi is one to look out for in the future. Cant wait to see him fight again. He had the most impressive performance at UFC 124.

Yeah, he looks good. I'd like to see him fight the winner of Stout/Kelly or Siver/Ficher.
