What a show! Thurs 23rd 8-9pm live. Online and BBC iPlayer and then pod on Christmas Eve. This is the confirmed line-up at the moment....Jamie Moore, Johnny Eames, Spencer Fearon, Rendall Munroe, Davey Coldwell, Dean Powell and a fan from Eastside. Plus, waiting in the wings Marty Rogan, Barry McGuigan, Natasha Jonas, Ricky Burns and about 8 others. It's a moveable feast and it will change. I need your two highs or lows of 2010...there will be a growing list and each of the guests will add to it. Adios and enjoy.
Lord Vano, It can be overseas, no sweat. Get the emails in: This content is protected Remember that next Thurs (30th) is the preview show. So hold fire on what you want to see in 2011. Adios and thanks.
Easy now Big D, I reckon that you will not be alone! David is meant to be on the show and will be if he doesn't get on a plane and fly to the sun. New names ...Enzo Maccarinelli, Big Dom Negus and Joe Gallagher. Adios and thanks.
I'm trying to get the reclusive Ricky Burns on the show...I forgot about Valero, nice remind. Daveyboy...you just made the show! Adios.
Highs: * British boxing is currently in a fantastic state with 4 current title holders in Froch, Khan, Haye and Burns and by the end of 2011 they could all realistically be the genuine #1s in their divisions. That would be incredible. * This BBC London Boxing Hour has been a great listen all year. Keep up the good work next year Buncey! Lows: * The best fights in world boxing still haven't happened. Mayweather-Pacquiao and Wlad-Haye would be huge but neither has been made yet. Here's hoping we get at least one of them in 2011. * Haye v Harrison. As a boxing fan it was a frustrating and disappointing fight from the start then got even worse when the first bell sounded.
The Haye vote is massive! It could be more than SPOTY!!! Keep 'em all coming. It's going to be frantic. Adios.
If Haye comes on to the show will you put it to him that the boxing fans have voted him as the low point of 2010??
Highs - Rob McCracken had a cracking year with Froch and the amateurs, really is the unsung heartbeat of British boxing for me at the moment!
Highs: - Sergio Martinez destroying Williams in 2 :bbb - Ricky Burns world title win. Lows: - Haye vs Harrison - The Organisations: 3 WBA champions
