OSDT is year round. You are confusing the legit OSDT from Floyd's test. I read here that Filipino reporters aren't reliable and Philippine sites/news are unreliable as well. But somehow this particular reporter is the real deal.
It does not bother me whether Roach lied or not. What bothers me is that, if he does enforce Mosley to have a PED's test, then he is clearly being Hypocritical! For it was Roach who said (in respect of the Olympic Random Drug testing that Floyd wants) its not up to Mayweather to make the rules, its up to the governing bodies. Now Roach might be the one trying to give the rules!
If you read the last paragraph in the article it says Mosley would agree to the testing as long as Pac would take the test too. That explains why Roach would take back his words...
A trainer who says and does whatever he thinks is best for his fighter even if it causes him to contradict himself? Wow, that's unheard of.
Pac may not have ever tested positive for drug use. But isn't Roach on record for having 2 fighters under his umbrella who have testing positive for steroids. Plus Roach new of De La Hoya's illegal hand wraps giving him 5th knuckle which he admitted during the Pacquiao fight. I wouldn't trust any of Roach's fighters he has a history of fighters cheating under him. Having 2 fighters tested for steroids under him should force all his fighters to do pre fight drug test.
Roach's two fighters CAUGHT using steriods is in NO WAY like Mosley being TOLD ON using PEDS. Roach's fighters have no reason to need testing but Mosley does due to history!! :rofl Really though smart move by Roach. He know's he can say and change whatever he says and he'll have Pac's fans backing him, but if he made Mosley take a test outside of the commissions standard testing it would be impossible to not look like a hypocrite. Well, at least to anyone not a Pac fan. So maybe he didn't need to change what he said. :think
i didn't know that, i was speaking to a former olympic lifting coach he said the contestants would roid the hell up and then get off it about a year before competition or even 8-9 months.
Joaquin "Quinito" Henson... right. Most pinoy sports fans know that for someone who's been a sports journalist for more than 20 years, Quinito Henson is kinda ****... Bad enough that one local sports blogger named his blog "FireQuinito" http://firequinito.com/archives/2-So-dude,-whats-up-with-the-name.html Interestingly enough, the blogger also wrote a short article on this issue between Henson and Roach http://firequinito.com/archives/469-Freddie-Roach-calls-bull****-on-Quinito-Henson-over-Mosley-drug-testing-report.html In the end I agree, it's a he-said she-said sort of deal like stated in the article. And to be honest, Henson doesn't really have the reputation of being all that knowledgeable or reliable.Given that, the whole thing hardly warrants the "Roach exposed as a liar" thread title.
I know. Roach is only right whenever he says something that discredits Pac. Like "Floyd's legs are gone", so if Pac beats Floyd, it's cause Floyd is shot. I wonder if they'd actually use that excuse if that does happen. I wouldn't put it past bitter bitches like Divac.
