http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news?slug=ki-mosleygarbage122110 Read it on the source ^ (Much easier to read). Kevin Iole talks some sense. This is complete bull**** from Arum. **** him.
No one can go against what Kevin has said here. One of his best article's. This is a complete trash of a fight.
It's good that people are starting to see things for what they are. There is one reason why we haven't seen Mayweather vs Pacquiao and it doesn't involve an urge or a vacation. This will become common knowledge soon enough.
Its obvious that anyone defending or justifying this fight is a Pac fan and not a true boxing fan. A true fight fan will always demand that the best fight the best. Pac had many more options that would have produce better matchups. And the financial hit would have been small. But the glory he would have received would have been priceless. Another black eye to the sport of boxing will happen on May 7 2011.
Good for Pacman. He should fight every fighter PBF has fought and beat them more decisively. And make a **** load of money while he's at it.
Disgrace, how can the puppet just stand there and allow arum to treat him like this and bring shame to the Filipino people.. what a disgrace.
First, I'd like to say that I'm happy for Mosley. Shane has always been one of the good guys in the sport and if anyone deserves a big payday during the sunset of his career, it's definitely him. That said, anyone who tries to defend this fight using an argument other that what I said above is completely full of **** and Pacquiao jizz...
Really? So Floyd didn't say he was going to take another 1-2 years off? He didn't say he lost the urge to fight? He didn't say he wasn't thinking about boxing? He didn't lie about negotitations the second time around? Get real dude, if Floyd really wanted to fight Manny they would be negotiating. Arum wouldn't stop that from happening. That's a ridiculous payday.
Why did he stop it in January, then...only to hastily line up Clottey (for a whopping 700,000 buys in comparison to a potential 2mil+)? :think
"He" stopped it? atsch They brought in an arbitrator which didn't help the negotiations. So they moved on. Should they have kept wasting each others time or something? :huh
