James Slater seems to think so... WTF has happened to him recently??

By James Slater - Fans continue to argue one way or the other, that it is either David Haye or Wladimir Klitschko who is “scared” to fight the other. After all that’s gone on at the negotiating tables, only when the first bell rings will everyone agree that both men want the fight - if bell-one ever does ring for the two rival heavyweights, that is.

Only today, in an exclusive in British tabloid The Sun, a story ran claming Haye is willing to agree to ALL of Klitschko’s demands, even though it will cost the WBA champ an estimated £2 million..

According to the piece, Haye has agreed to Klitschko’s demand that he gets half of the Sky Box Office TV money - as well as agreeing to Klitschko’s venue of choice and his choice of TV broadcaster in Germany (this last detail was proving to be a major stumbling block).

However, Haye has heard nothing back, he claims, since agreeing to the three crucial points. It is by agreeing to give Klitschko 50-percent of all Sky Pay-Per-View money that Haye will lose the estimated 2 mil, and if everything the Sun article says is legit, it might just prove that Haye really does want the unification fight. Does Haye want it more than Klitschko does, and does the fact that Haye has heard nothing back from Germany prove it?

Again, fans will continue to sit on opposite sides of the fence when it comes to these two, but it sure looks like Haye is being more than reasonable. Will Team-Klitschko respond to this latest offer soon? And if so, is the heavyweight battle we have wanted to see for at least two years or more finally about to be signed?

Klitschko wanted half of the Sky T.V money: Haye says he can have it.

Klitschko wanted to be able to chose the venue of the fight: Haye says he can do so.

Klitschko wanted to have the fight on RTL in Germany: Haye says that’s fine too.

So what’s the problem now? The ball appears to be well and truly in “Dr. Steel Hammer’s” court.

James Slater is just a persona created so they can recycle old news from other sources.

Eventually this will get boring and no one will care whether the fight happens or not, like Pac-Floyd. I give it til late January/early February/mid March/early spring/summer time.

He's done some decent interviews and british ringside reports. Recently he's become a joke though.

No noise yet from Klitschko? Why am I not surprised! David has called Klitschko's bluff and it will be interesting to see what clause he can come up with now to avoid fighting Haye.

The Sun is shocking for boxing, always put the wrong pics of fighters the article is addressing too.

Seriously, who really gives a **** about these negotiations now? Or any negotiations for that matter??!?
