Overeem (33-11 MMA, 4-0 DREAM) competes just three weeks removed from a scintillating performance in the K-1 World Grand Prix, where he claimed the promotion's tournament championship. The Strikeforce heavyweight champion defended that promotion's title against Brett Rogers in his only other MMA bout of 2010.

Japanese mainstay Sapp (11-6-1 MMA, 1-1 DREAM) meets former sumo wrestler Suzukawa (0-0 MMA, 0-0 DREAM), who makes his MMA debut – or at least apparently makes his MMA debut. The bout, which is produced by longtime MMA and professional wrestling promoter Antonio Inoki, will be contested under "IGF special rules." Unfortunately, those rules have yet to be disclosed.

The IGF, or Inoki Genome Federation, is a professional wrestling association founded by Inoki.

The latest DREAM Dynamite!! 2010 card includes:
    • Satoshi Ishii vs. Jerome Le Banner
    • Sergei Kharitonov vs. Tatsuya Mizuno
    • Alistair Overeem vs. TBA
    • Bob Sapp vs. Shinichi Suzukawa^
    • Champ Bibiano Fernandes vs. Hiroyuki Takaya (for featherweight title)
    • Champ Marius Zaromskis vs. Kazushi Sakuraba (for welterweight title)
    • Shinya Aoki vs. Yuichiro Nagashim+
    • Tatsuya Kawajiri vs. Josh Thomson
    • Kazuyuki Miyata vs. Caol Uno
    • Akiyo "Wicky" Nishiura vs. Tetsuya Yamato@
    • Kyotaro Fujimoto vs. Gegard Mousasi@
    • Hideo Tokoro vs. Kazuhisa Watanabe
    • Jason High vs. Hayato Sakurai
    • Hiroshi Izumi vs. Ikuhisa "Minowaman" Minowa
    • Katsuaki Furuki vs. Andy Ologun
    ^ - IGF special rules
    + - MMA/K-1 mixed-rules bout
    @ - K-1 rules bout

This card is **** hot. If the rumours of Overeem-Duffee are true then this will be entertaining. The Thomson fight is one I am looking forward too as well. Shame about Saku's fight, it really isn't needed for him or for the fans.

It was rumoured although I don't think it's happening now, he has a fight at the end of Jan lined up. Shame, I was looking forward to seeing Overeem killing Duffee.

Not much to get excited about apart from Fernandes vs. Takaya and Kawajiri vs. Thomson. The likes of Aoki, Mousasi and a few others are in meaningless fights. Was hoping to see at least a few more well matched up fights.

It probably won't be anybody too challenging for 'Reem.

Lot of good names on the card. Should be entertaining for the most part. Sak's fights are always entertaining even if he's just getting KO'd. His entrances are always over the top. Makes it worth the price of admission for me.

Haven't got a clue about the rules. We will probably find out on the day of the event! 1st round will probably be MMA in which case the fight will be finished within a few mins.

    Not a chance dude.

I thought they were streamlining the card this year. There is too many matches.

The rating will be very interesting considering:
The fight industry is in decline in Japan and I just dont know what or who will drag it back it up.

They are streamlining the TV coverage a bit, at least.

The programming schedule for HDNet here in the US only has it blocked out from 9pm to 2am.

It's definitely started later and lasted longer in past years (usually until after day break).
