Vitali Klitschko awarded as "Boxer of the Year 2010" by German magazine Boxsport! Wladimir came 2nd! Thanks to all who voted for the brothers!

If "The Ring" doesnt offically give it Martinez, i can expect there to be alot of haters.

Martinez made the the biggest mark in boxing this year, creating an argument whether or not he is the 3# P4P

I would be willing to leave the award vacaant this year. I don't think anyone really stands out. If Jean Pascal had beaten Bernard Hopkins after beating Chad Dwson I would say he would be my choice.
Sergio Martinez who is most deserving of being the curent #1 Pound for Pound should also be considered he has wins over Kelly Pavlik and Paul Williams. However he has not been the bet guy in boxing all year nor is he the most talanted. I would say Mayweather, Pacquiao and Dawson are more talanted than he is.
Pascal's officall draw with Hopkins is a dellima. If you go by the official score of the fight Pascal getting a draw with Hopkins who is a better boxer than he is is very impresive. He even knocked Hopkins down two times in the fight. On that alone you have a strong case along with his win over Dawson for Pascal being fighter of the year. On the other hand popular opinion says that their fight wasn't draw and that Hopkins should have had his hand raised in victory.
When I rank/rate boxers I go by official result. This dose not mean that I always agree with the official result, but it is a matter of record.
In this light Jean Pascal would get my vote if I had a vote and had to vote for someone.

rripcity. You sir are a tool.

you would choose pascal over martinez!?
I also had it a toss up between those two if Pascal would have looked impressive but he got schooled.

martinez is the obvious choice. I'm gonna be pissed if anyone else gets it...

Either of the Klithcsko brothers can be the next German Chancellor if they ran for office.
