no way. He would have to train for a huge amount of time and the pay rewards are well below what he earns now.
I doubt it, maybe he'll do one match vs. a nobody. You can't compete at the top of UFC/Strikeforce without a ground game.
No chance. Haye himself in the past has conceded to the fact that he'd have his ass handed to him if he tried MMA. If he has no desire left to continue boxing at the end of 2011, then he really isn't going to bother taking up a new craft of MMA. Like he's just said in that video - it'll be way too much work. But all that aside, I bet he'd conduct some horrific damage with 4-ounce gloves on.
What about Mr.Mercer These are old dudes that their boxing career is over, yet they are able to make an impact with one punch with their fat asses. Rest my case.
aye...undiputed cruiserweight champion, second person in history to go up and win a world title at heavyweight!!!! Bout de SMASH Wlad's face in. I'll crack the jokes!!! ; )
that would explain why he throws his straights pretty wild sometimes. I think i heard something about a dabbling in wrestling before he took up boxing but i can't begin to remember where I may have heard that one so i'll just leave it as a rumor.
Yes, because only garbage athletes with wrestling backgrounds can have success. If a great athlete has a wrestling back ground and a boxing background, no way he could make it. Imagine if NFL players decided to get practically naked and roll around on the ground with other men because they were scared to get hit. They WOULD DOMINATE MMA.
