Calzaghe was Hopkins best techinical fight, I think

Sounds like sour grapes to me, listen to the crowd cheer for joe, they dont cheer for bernard, boohoo bub, all that matters now and always will is that joe got the nod, and that will go in to the history books!, it wasn't a personal thing against bernard why he lost the fight but poor work rate down the stretch, faking low blows, trying to get points deducted off joe in what bhop knew was a close fight, joe won that fight (a very very close fight) on greater workrate, end of story!

 

Thats why one of the judges posted the single highest score card against Hopkins ever 116-111.
I would say it was technical brilliance by Calzaghe, as Hopkins is known for his strong finishes but got completely shut down by Calzaghe, as Calzaghe landed on Hopkins more than anyone ever. Hopkins was looking for time out and faking injury and trying to get points deducted from Calzaghe.
What makes it all the better is that Calzaghe beat Hopkins sandwiched between Hopkins best wins of Tarver, Wright and Pavlik, at a new weight he hadnt fought before, In America, with 3 American judges and Cortez as ref.

Clear Calzaghe win.

America have to learn to accept that Calzaghe beat Hopkins and Jones. Accept it and move on
