    chavez and camacho fought in the same card, both got interview after chavez fight, this help to build the fight and i enjoy this type of stunts, this would be perfect fot like kahn vs alexander bradley winner, fight in same card then a showdown, another point is they both fought that night and the fight was in 6 weeks wow awsome

    They used to take years building up fighters! When the fights came they meant something! To Hell with all this PPV crap!

    Maybe to do with Boxing not being as big as it was in the 80's?

    You could build up a lesser known fighter's profile in the public eye in order to confer legitimacy on that fighter as an opponent for a high profile, well known champ.

    Arum's good at doing that - Hearns - Leonard springs to mind.

    Even recently, Hatton did it with Malignaggi.
