Ignoring the casual fans who will automatically choose Roach, can the intelligent boxing fans and actual boxers of ESB please list your weight, your strengths, weaknesses, and why you think that the trainer you chose could/would be best for you.

    Mine:

I'm 6'3 and my best punch is the straight right hand. I'd choose Emmanuel Steward. I'm a heavyweight and he has tons of heavyweight experience. I'm not overly tall by today's HW standards, but against the taller opponents (Klits) I think that Steward could help me with get inside, fight well inside, and set up the big right hand and against shorter opposition, Steward is great at teaching range, and helping a tall fighter fight tall.

    Votes are public.

When I was fighting in the Amateurs I was a defensive fighter my first fight was at 120 I'm 5'7, and I loved the countering game to set up my hard shots, I love the chess part of boxing, was never much of a brawler.. So Nacho, Roger Mayweather would be my top picks if I were to be trained from a young guy to a pro... Because I see them more for fighters that love to box and counter... Which was my love with boxing since when I was young I loved playing chess, then my dad introduced me to boxing..

    Roach

    Height: 6'0
Weight: 185lbs - can get down to 154 if I trained hard for it.
Strengths: Quick reflexes and lightning speed
Weakness: Not much power and possibly a weak chin.

    Height: 6'0
Weight: 195-200lbs (Would probably campaign at 175lbs)
    Stance: Southpaw (Natural right-hander)
    Best Punch(s): Jab/right-hook
    Strengths: Power/heart
    Weakness: Defence/Stamina

I feel i would gel with Nazim, he's a good strategist and it seems from the interviews i've seen of him and his training methods that we would have chemistry in the gym, i'm pretty much a slugger i swing for the fences and being a natural righty fighting as a southpaw i have a very stiff jab, i've never boxed Amatuer or Pro but at 32 i've had at least 40-50 street-fights in my life, getting hit makes me fight harder and i don't pay much attention to defence so i would need someone to work on my discipline and defence.

    Emmanuel Steward.
I'm about 6' tall with long arms. I would fight at 154 maybe 160. At my age I don't think I can healthly get to 147. I would if I could.
    I think
Emmanuel Steward is the best trainer for tall lanky boxers.

I trained to box, I still do on my own off and on. But I hope to get semi serious (not as a career hence the semi lol) I'd rather have Floyd Seinor as my trainer. I think the style he teaches is based strongly on fundamentals. And he has extensive boxing knowledge. Plus I prefer a more defensive oriented style as oppose to soley offensive or slugging. Something like fighting defensively, and counter punching while giving the illusion of walking the opponent down. I like to react rather than be proactive.

    Height: 5'10
    Walk around Weight: 155-165
Ideal weight Class: Welterweight-Jr Middleweight- Possibly Middleweight
    Reach: 73 inches
Strengths: Overall good athletic physical attributes, chin, defense

Weakness: Footwork could be a lot better, so could upper body movement, FOOD!!!!!!!

Best Punch: Probably Jab or Left Hook. They are just easy to land when i see the oppurtunity, and I've got decent speed on them both. They are probably my best punches, but my fav is the straight right hand apparently it hurts a lot lol.

220 - 225 (could get down to 200 though pretty easy with some dedication)
    stance: orthodox
    strength: jab, decent(ish) left hook
    weakness: stamina / speed

I'll be honest, I would make a terrible fighter. But that aside I would pick Manny Steward since I'm tall with decently long arms and pretty decent jab. I wouldn't be fast enough to get much from a Mayweather and I can't shoulder roll worth a damn.

Hard to choose between Roach, Nazim, and R. Mayweather. They are all great trainers, have a lot of knowledge, and bring different things to the table. I would love to spend some time with each of them.

Roach is great at teaching you fundamentals, offensive strategies, and improving your existing style.
Mayweather is best at defense, counterpunching, and **** talking.
Nazim is great at defense, strategy, and the mental aspect of boxing.

I place great importance on defense and being smart in the ring so I'd probably pick Nazim if I had to choose.

    Height 5 - 8
    Weight - 180
    Stance - othordox
Strength - Physical strength and Speed.
    Weakness - Stamina
    Best punch - Right hand

Would probably look at a Floyd Snr who would get me off the weights , understand how to defend and slip punches properly.

My reach is pretty long. I have longer reach than Pavlik
My jab is quick and snappy. I double it pretty good. My right hand is definately packing some heat. That was my finishing punch when i used to box.
I have a pretty solid chin. I have been punched by much bigger guys and have only momentarily gone down. Never Kod

With that said I think Steward would be my ideal trainer but he seems like such an ass. He would leave you as soon as someone with more money comes along or you lose.

I am a natural counter puncher so i also think Beristain would be another fit. There would be no language barrier and he looks like a guy who would stick by your side at all times even in a bar fight and if things get heated up at the bar we can always escape in his badass mustang.
