I'd say it depends alot on what his future career plan is and how badly he's burnt his bridges with the UFC.

If he wants to fight elsewhere then losing to Overeem right now isnt likely to hurt his prospects all that much. If he wants to go back to the UFC though such a loss pretty much ensures he won't unless Allistair also ends up there, the same way Sylvia/AA are never coming back after losing to Fedor and other non UFC HW's.

If this is on William Hill, I'm betting my anus on Duffee losing. I will reap the rewards of a silly fight.

 

I thought Duffee decided not to sign for this fight because the money wasn't right? Is this fight for sure?

 

Its an interesting fight in reality. We can see where both men are in terms of the top heavies in MMA. We know that Duffe is slightly outside the top 10 in UFC and so him fighting Overeem should show how good Alistair is.

 

Slightly? He was ko'd by a bum and had 2 full rounds to put him away before he got exposed.

 

Duffee's no barameter as to how good Reem is. This is a mismatch of epic proportions

 

I'm going with the last upset of the year: Duffee via KO in round 1.

Well, but I guess that Overeem will dispose of Duffee as he did with Rogers. Really want to see him in the UFC.
