Oh, dear. If he even thinks about trading with this guy it's lights out. Bad opponent, very bad.

Johnsons striking has always looked rather sloppy to me, he could catch hardly as Condit did but equally I wouldnt be supprized to see Dan lay him out, espeically given AJ's long layoff.

Is it classed as a step down fighting on the fight nights instead

Yeah, after back to back losses Hardy has definitely been knocked down the welterweight pecking order, especially after being KO'd by Condit. Anthony Johnson was seen as a potential star too but things haven't exactly panned out for him: he's coming off a stoppage loss as well.

This is a competitive comeback for both men.

If Hardy loses this fight then I would be suprised if he wasn't cut. Johnson has been away for a while too. Hardy has been demoted from main even to co-main event and now to a Fight Night card!

I don't rate Johnson's striking. I think he is talented but technically he is sloppy but who knows what has happened in 18 months! Hardy likewise has overrated striking but he has power. I used to think he had a good beard but even that looks overrated!

I like Hardy after the gutsy GSP fight and he comes to fight so I'll be rooting for him. Oh, and he is British :)

Hardy will definitely not be cut. He is a key in british MMA along with Bisping, they'll be around for a while. Daley wouldn't have got cut either, if not for, y'know.

  9. I dont think the fight will happen.
Someone going to get injured in training camp.
    I see hardy get ktfo.
Hardy has got average striking tbh, he not knocked anyone out in the ufc except in his debut. Really dnt see the fight happening i think hardy going to get a "injury"

I like how everybody says this guys chin is weak and that guy has no chin , when he got KO once, so what it happens. people make it out to be the end of the world if a fighter gets ko'ed.

GSP got KO'ed, remember? Look at him now.

I'm not saying Hardy is anywhere near GSP just saying, I think its funny how people react.

Dana White is a fat attention seeking disgrace for the way he overeacted to what what Daley did at the Koscheck fight.

    Bring back Paul Semtex Daley!!!!

GSP never got Koed, he tapped to strikes.

Hardy has a great chin though

It's not his chin, man. It's the fact that he traded blindly with Condit and shows no signs of changing his game. If he does that with Johnson it's lights out, plus he's a better wrestler than him, I'd love to see Hardy try and keep him down, I honestly would.

Good fight, Rumble is massive in between fights and coming off a long lay off it is going to be interesting to see whether he makes weight and how he performs.
