if mayweather fought hatton in his prime at his natural weight of 140 he would have lost.

That's not an excuse. That is a continuation of what he is feeling at this time.

    Think before posting.

Hatton is on the verge of greatness, he showed that against Zoo, and has been impressive in every fight since then besides Collazo, but I think he will come up just short against Mayweather. Hatton might become an ATG but I doubt it.

But most Hatton fans don't think he will win, they just want him to win.
    Myself included.

So you've just wasted your energy typing all this

I agree with Amsterdam. It will be Ricky's drive, determination and heart and his relentless pressure during the fight that will force Floyd to give it his best and fight hard, thereby increasing the chances of Ricky being stopped by the referee on a cut/ having his face ripped up and bloody. Even if Floyd wanted to go for the wide UD in this fight, or even take it fairly easy as he did against DLH, I think he will be forced to fight and I can see a stoppage. If Ricky doesn't do it early, in the first 5-6 rounds, it will be Floyd that likely does it...If Ricky doesn't give it his very best his chances of being stopped would decrease and he would lose a wide UD...

To arrogantly predict that Hatton won't win one round is ludicrous.

If he gets hammered, there won't be any excuses from me. He simple would have lost to the better fighter.

And please stop mentioning the fact that they are fighting at 147 pounds because it means nothing in this fight. Hatton will come in at his normal Jr. Welter weight of around 153 pounds, probably same or slightly heavier than Floyd on the night.

thats the complete truth in all this lonsdale. there won't be excuses from brits, floyd will get his dues.
however the floyd fans are SO BLINKERED AND PATRONISING about this fight that they will run off the following excuses when he loses.

    - it was cortez's fault
    - floyds got hand problems
    - dancing with starts effected him
    - floyd's lost his hunger
    - floyds body is breaking up.

let this be said - THERE IS NO EXCUSES IN THIS FIGHT!!!!! these are 2 undefeated fighters in the prime of their boxing careers. the winner is gonna win because he deserved too, so do not give any bull**** after this fight.

Funny, but last time I checked, holding and hitting was against the rules.

I personally think mayweather is gonna win this one but you lot either dont know **** about boxing or you have only watched hatton against collazo. hatton definitely has more than just being a face first madman. he gives good angles, great body puncher and hits sharply everywhere all over u and wont let people rest great pressure that has a method.
hattons not amazing but he is very good at what he does. its gonna be an intriging fight no doubt i wanna see what mayweather does with the pressure and body shots and hattons will to win. hatton will start strong with the first 4 rounds but i see mayweather then taking over.

Funny how in a few months, people's perspective changes.

I will never forget how the majority of you dudes said PBF was ducking Hatton after Hatton made those smart-ass comments after his ko of Kostya Tszyu. Which was a very arrogant move for someone who's supposed to be a "nice guy." What was it he said? Something about more action in his fight than all of PBF's combined? Anyway, most of you guys said PBF was ducking Hatton even though it wasn't true. For years, PBF tried to get a fight with Hatton to no avail. Only to finally get the fight and in turn, have the fans claim that PBF only took the fight because he knew he would win. Sickening.

If that's the case, when Mayweather defeats Hatton that victory will have very little meaning in his record? :think

After all, Floyd haters will be able to say that beating Ricky doesn't count for greatness since Hatton was an over rated fighter after all, etc, etc, etc...:hey
