Folks I can't wait for this fight. Duffee is going to get his fragile Glass Jaw shattered all over the place. What a Dana White hype job he was.:rofl:patsch

If I've got £600 in the bank on Friday, it's going on Overeem.

So Dana and his team of money grabbing ****s tried to spin money off this poor kid. And now this skint little glass jawed dude with a dream (who a **** from UFC took aside and filled his head full of how Unstoppable he would become after crushing this bum....)

Duffee's just a kid. He has nothing at all to do with the UFCs contract deals, or the Strikeforce

He got embarrassed by a handpicked opponent brought in to make him look good. The look on Dana White's face was priceless after the fight. Not to mention the announcers trying to cover all the schilling they did for Duffee before and during the fight. It was a total disaster.

It was a total disaster because Duffee was winning the fight up to the point where the guy landed a hail mary shot, dude. I enjoy your over-exaggerated analysis of people's jawlines but it's a bit different when he's a heavyweight fighting other heavyweights with 4/6 ounce gloves and he gets KO'd in a fight that he was winning up to and including the last round. I would totally be on board this "let's slate Duffee" bandwagon if he'd been so massively hyped for getting the quickest knockout and got sparked in the first, but he just got caught, it happens. I find it foolish to judge a Heavyweight's chin, especially in MMA, not everyone can take a heavyweight's punch. I don't care how big you are or how great your chin is, you get caught; that's it, lights out.

Neh, I think he deserves a ton of respect, to be honest. Sure, he's not got a huge load of options since he's been dropped from the UFC, but to go fight in Japan with 7 days notice at this time of the year against Overeem? The dude deserves a ****ing medal and all the respect in the world. He's going to get assassinated, clearly, but this could be one of the greatest stories in MMA heavyweight history if he can pull it off. I wish him luck, and withdraw my betting slip, in respect for the underdog.

And selfishly, my dwindling money supply.

Absolutely. But this had nothing to do with ther kid himself. Now this kid finds himself up against THEE best MMA fighter in the world. He's no more than a pawn. Seeing him getting crushed wont do UFC any harm

Ubereem would be FAR better trying his hand against a chimp

    Chimp beats human 99/100

    But chump vs Ubereem???

No doubt. This is MMA. All it takes is one punch and Duffee could be on top of the world. As much as he's massive outsider this is a great opportunity for him. Anyway i would imagine he'll end up in SF.

It would be ironic if the tables were turned and this time Duffee lands the hail mary after getting the **** beaten out of him. I seriously doubt it though. Overeem dissects him with clinical precision in one round.

This boy Duffee must be hard up broke. Wouldn't surprise me if this fight was staged/fixed. A bit like those Pancrase fights back in the day.

 O k. Look DREAM were trying to find Overeem an opponent and Duffee threw his name in the hat. Remember Duffee turned down a bout with Silva at SF on short notice. If he was flat broke i cant see him turning down ANY pay day. That said a fight vs one of the best heavys in the world outside of the UFC and a name like Overeem is a huge opportunity. Far as im concerned Duffee made the right choice. Even though the odds are highly stacked against him. At the end of the day this is MMA. It could easily turn out to be CC Randleman 1.

Its buying money. Like against Rogers, he's fighting an uncredentialed 'striker' with no grappling base he can beat with his eyes closed.
