Who can Berto fight to put him where he needs to be?

154lbs would be his best bet to find some comp.
Angulo, Bundrage, Martirosyan, Mora, Lara, Cintron ect....
(Better than facing the 140lbers.)

 

Top Rank should pay Berto to fight a very good/mandatory/of their stable on the Pacquiao PPV under card to build for that fight (if they a] still don't want to take full random blood tests and b] are still scared to give Marquez "III") plus give people who will be on the verge of buying it a lil incentive.

 

Alvarez or Marquez (don't wanna see that one but if JMM is crazy enough to take this fight then Berto should take advantage of this opportunity)

 

Cintron and Paul do NOTHING for him, however Cotto, is the perfect fight for him, if he were to beat Cotto, it would be impossible to ignore him.

 

I think Cotto at 147 would be best... or 154 if cotto declines 147...Cotto should challenge Berto for a title shot or something instead of Mayorga..


I see no other Match ups that would put him were he needs to be.

Beating a cotto, or losing to cotto would help us gauge were his hype is really at.

Clottey's a good start! The only convincing loss he got was with Pac.

I suggest JMM, Cotto, Margarito.

I like the Alvarez fight. That's the ticket for alvarez for a Pac fight. Al Least Alvarez really sells tickets.

i think clottey would be a dangerous but a good match-up for him and would test berto good. if berto wins even a close one, he would be more regarded at welter.
