Personally I aren't to unhappy with the fight. While I woulden't say Morales's wins in his comebacks are worthy of a title shot. Not just any shot but the lineal title. Then again who can Marquez face? He's at the point in his career when he wants big fights you'd think. I woulden't mind seeing him face Humberto Soto but the guy has no name recognition at all. Morales has looked pretty good in his comeback fights and could keep it competitive.

    What do you think

it would close out the fab 4 of our generation by completing the circle though this match is too late for morales. this should have happened before pacquiao-morales but jmm or his handlerss opted to pass-out. soto is a much more credible opponent for jmm at this time but would not blame him if he wants to cash it out against morales. but if he is still after pac next, he should have made a move and challenge a legitimate 140 or 147 contender or champion.

    I'll watch it, Good enough.
(Throw in the WBC 140lbs championship that get's stripped off of Bradley once he beats Alexander)

Make it count, First 4x Different weight class champion from Mexico.

JMM-Morales sounds about right to me, seeing that everyone seems to think JMM is old and weathered. I kinda want to see him fight Margarito, who after the severe beating from Pac, should be soft and slow enough that a fight with a tiny but technically sound JMM should be competitive. If Marg wins then he earned a huge payday against Cotto. If JMM wins he makes an even more convincing argument as to why he should fight Pac. JMM deserves to make a ridiculous amount of money considering the wars he's given us. His match with Barrera, Katsidis, Diaz 1, Pac 1 and 2...are all quality.

Amazing how many people want to see this fight but almost nobody ever gave Pac credit for beating Morales 4-5 years ago because Morales was supposedly "shot".

What do we think? We think this Marquez is going to retire Morales in a fashion that will make him forget he ever set his foot in the ring.

Expect lots of blood AND if the ref is any good, a mid round stoppage.

Sometimes a few years out of the game is enough for a great boxer to recoup, Morales was in so many wars but an i'm pretty sure if this fight happens, hes could dig deep an give us fans another memorable night.

Marquez wins a UD if he boxes smart an keeps his cool, but he also gets frustrated when tagged enough, so with that in mind some rounds are bound to be a war.

Would've been great to see this fight 6-7 years ago, but i will certianly tune in if she happens, It completes the great Mexican trinity of this era, a fight for the ages!

Morales doesn't have a chance. JMM tears him up in a fight that doesn't do much and doesn't mean much, for me personally.

I think it has more to do with Pac getting beat by a fading Morales, who lost either side of beating Pac. I think most feel Morales was 'shot' after the poor showing against Z-man, who then himself went on to lose his next bout. But off course Pac still gets credit for the wins, quite alot actually, an when the dust settles an we look back, or a new breed of fight fan wants to learn the rich history of the sport, their trilogy is something they'll point to, as its what we do now with other past greats.
