A fight with Povetkin would be great. They have to push for this fight.

Easy fight for Adamek. UD, or late TKO. To bad, he dosen't fight with Peter, far better oponent.

I will tell you why. There is nothing left after Arreola but the championship fights against Klitschkos or David Haye. And its not even a matter of them not wanting to fight Adamek, they do of course but the problem is they want to get the lions share of the pot. The Klitschkos want to treat Adamek like Sosnowski, give him a million and hope he will be happy. Problem is Adamek is getting half of it fighting someone like Maddalone on his own terms. Adamek is being ambitious and wants to fight in a championship fight where its 50/50. To achieve this status he needs to get more recognition in America. I know everybody here knows Adamek but to casual fans in the US he is still unknown and wins over someone like Rahman or Peter elevate his status. Its sad but fights against someone like Holyfield or Roy Jones Junior would give him a huge boost in America.

Adamek still needs to get more exposure especially in the US and he needs wins to establish himself at the top so that he get demand and not just accept someones terms.

Look at David Haye, he fought easy opponents but despite everybody hating him his status has elevated. He can now demand more money than Klitschkos and its the Klitschkos that have to beg for 50/50.

It feels to me like the whole division is waiting on Haye-Klitschko happening. Its good to see Adamek fighting regularly and building a name for himself, but its still frustrating when the best fights aren't being made. Any fight involving Adamek/Chambers/Povetkin/Chagaev fighting eachother would be incredible, so its a shame fans have to see fights like Adamek-Rahman which don't excite anyone.

Well, good luck to TA... but I'd far rather see an Adamek-Povektin eliminator rather than both of them just wait around for their inevitable title shot

I can't see this as anything more than a keep busy fight for Adamek.

They are champions, so I do not think it is really a problem they get more than 50% of the share. Well, it depends what do you mean by "lions share" of course, but in the past it was rather Adamek (or his team, doesn't matter) who made the impression of being greedy. There is nothing wrong if Adamek wants get more fame and recognision before getting a titleshot to fight on better terms, but fighting Grant, Madison and Rahman won't get him above certain level, and I think he already got there.

IMO this still looks like running from Klitschkos more than really bargaining. Still, Haye is in really different position than Adamek. First of all, he has a title, so he gets probably more money for Harrison than Adamek for all his 4 fights this year. And he is from UK, which is rich country with 60 mln people generating decent amount of money from PPV - while you may forget about PPV from Poland by Adamek.

The difference is haye took **** money to get where he is. He took **** money vs mormek and **** money vs valuev. He fought both in their own backyard. Through this he became a two weight champ with calls to unify. He took one fight with harrison which demonstrated he can make millions on his own. He isn't fighting wlad for the money, it's for the legacy.

Adamek has to accept he is a challenger whose best win is a majority decision over a fat arreola. He can demand the lion share against those ranked beneath him, but he aint getting it vs a champ, and nor should he.

These "safe" fights, imo, are bad management. He won't get the money he wants and soon he'll become old and irrelevant like povetkin. Who will he fight next? Riddick bowe?

Adameck will win by a mid round stoppage.Rahman has no ambition anymore,he will be there purely for the pay and wont even put up much of a fight.

A fight with Peter would have been a step in the right direction Hasim Rahman at this time is a lose/lose fight.

Completely agree, I gave Adamek **** for his fight in December, but honestly, I'd just rather him stay busy like this.

Too bad David already turned down a potential HBO bout against Adamek.
