Calzaghe would beat Froch hands down, if Calzaghe who has been retired for over two years made a comeback and fought Froch who is a current World Champion, I would still take Calzaghe to beat him thats how far Calzaghe is ahead of Froch head to head.

Well he has and is fighting a great level of world class competition at their peak something Calzaghe did not do as a result Froch has gained more respect for his accomplishments.

I don't see how anyone can logically put Froch as the best British fighter since Lewis. He's probably in the top 3 since Lewis but the best? No chance.

fighting worlds top fighters back to back is a hard act to follow,, froch stands by himself in this category in u,k modern times, he,s a super solid fighter also he's far from finished yet, so if not *1 he's heading that way.

He is possibly the best since Lewis,if he were to get a win over Ward and take the super 6 title it would be certain.

Don't think he can beat Ward but if he did and wins the Super 6 avenges the loss to Kessler and defeat Lucien Bute then arguably he will be the greatest British fighter ever. However like I said that is a big if. Should he stop fighting tomorrow his record is worthy of real respect. Game lad and champion.

I like Carl Froch a great deal and have a lot of time for him. I also watched him on the way up seeing several of his fights. Froch will not beat Andre Ward who is a special elite fighter. He may be the best pure American boxer since PBF. Froch was fortunate to keep his belt against Dirrell and Ward is more complete at this stage than Direll. Froch made hard work of Kessler who Ward took to school. Ward skills and talent is superior to Froch and his intangibles are sound as well. Sorry but Froch loses to Ward I am certain about that.

Froch's defense is awful and has recently found he can box when it's an Abraham like fighter. Calzaghe would stop him easy and Froch has turned down the chance when Calzaghe was active and with Warren!:yep

Bull****, Froch didn't step up until Joe retired and stuck with his British title until then! Froch's defence is terrible and he's weak against workrate so Joe would of had an easy time with him. Froch has only learned to box recently instead of relying on KO's Froch claimed the Joe offer was "derisory" yet he was only a British champ at the time and he said he would fight Joe no problem and wanted it in Cardiff. If he didn't let Mick hold him back, he would of got schooled by Calzaghe by now! Hennessy is mad if he thinks he could of afforded £1.6 mill and Joe was the draw/champ so Froch would of had to do a SN show.

The Roy Jones KD wasn't a kd, he was clearly hit by Roy's forearm and you could see it on the replay.

Hopkins was nothing but a fouling **** in that **** after the KD and lost widely after that! Hopkins was doing the Ruiz hit and hold tatics the whole fight.:yep
