watson o'donnell has close fight written all over it and it is hard to call. but i do think watson will take it by a reasonable margin. i don't think he'll let o'donnell ever get out of second gear. as for the other rematch, i think watson would start strongly again, but i see hatton going to the body early and coming on strong down the stretch taking a disputed decision.
Watson is all wrong for Hatton bottom line. He's not the typical straight up fighter, he knows how to use the ring and is a southpaw. That's why he owned Matthew. Matt's only been looking good against Euro stiffs, smoke and mirrors gentlemen.
We all know Mad Matt Hatton won't fight him again, just ain't gonna happen. I like Watson, he's a good fighter, I rmember malignaggi talking about him, how he really rated him and said how he wouldn't get the big fights though and how this annoyed him about boxing. Not a big paulie fan but he often speaks the truth and has a mind of his own, lotta respect for paulie
I think he would favour himself to overturn the loss to be honest. When was that interview? Yeah paulie does speak sense sometimes. He knew he was being set up in the first diaz fight and called it to the letter.
Nah, he's one of those people who say it only when it suits him. It also depends on who he's "working" with.
I only clicked on this topic, because i thought it was about Ricky Hatton. "I will never click back on this thread ever again"
matthew will probly go for a world title and vacate the european, but i reckon the Hattons will then let denton vassell fight for it against a **** opponent like the guy matt hatton fought in his last fight, Watson has had a raw deal wiv the hattons, bad move signing for them imo.
Who you think will fight him? Senchenko? Well there is likely a conflict of interest if they think he's better than matthew
