I don't see what was so special about Mayweather vs Gatti?

I'm 34, married, have a 1 year old daughter, homeowner, wife decided she didn't want to go back to work after maternity leave because I can support the family on my own.

I've never been arrested or in any type of trouble.

I'm close with my family and have a lot of friends. I've travelled the world for work and pleasure, many times.

I was abandoned as a kid and raised by adoptive parents of a different race who took me home when I was 4.

What do you have going on as far as life experience where you feel that you can lecture me?

This is just a message board bro where **** talking is not only accepted, it's encouraged. Don't take things so seriously.

    Let's be really honest:

Gatti was not a world champion ... Tszyu was stripped (or given emeritus status) and the belt given to Gatti.

Gattis management publicly said that Gatti would not fight Tszyu. Mayweather at that time also said about fighting Tszyu 'I am gonna wait till he us as old as my uncle was'

Tszyu gets alot of flack for not fighting a big name but let's be honest ... People weren't lining up to fight the guy either.

So Gatti was built up as a 140 world champ so it looked like Mayweather was fighting the best. Mayweather called Gatti a club level and C level fighter in all the promos ... Said he had no defense and went life and death with guys like ward and Robinson ... Then claimed it was an amazing title victory when he won easily.

I love Gatti ... But it was one of the strangest management decisions I had ever seen to put him in with Mayweather. He looked slightly flabby ... Slow, confused and completely outmatched.

His name was at a premium too ... Another opponent should have been chosen for both ... Gatti for equality and entertainment ... Mayweather to prove himself against a legit 140 opponent

For real? You think Gatti would win 2? That's extraordinary. He never wins. That's like saying he has a 1 in 50 chance. Its more like 1 in a million.

i'm not trying to disrespect you by what i said - it just pisses me off when people use "*******" or "*****" generalisations, because its baby****.

the life experience i'm talking about is developed from fighting, confronting my fears, and travelling too.

but the life experience i was talking about in lounge was about women, because it's a subject i know.

it wasn't to beat my chest in the same way i wasn't trying to attack you personally.

just don't be dismissive of people like that, you don't know where they came from either.

it just shows off drfferant classes of fighter.

Mayorga Diaz and Gatti are B level.

De la Hoya, Trinidad and Mayweather and Manny are A level.

Just a differant class altogether so when an A class fights a B Class that's what happens.

There are another class of Ultra Elite with Robinson, Leonard, Hearns and others.

And no i don't think Mayweather, Trinidad De Lahoya and Manny are at that level. And I get your point beating up on tailer made B Level figters can sometimes give off that impression.

Mayweather was easily as big as Gatti ... Gatti did not look at all like he had a size advantage on him. If anything Gatti looked out of shape that fight ... Weird because there was such a fuss about him making weight.

Mayweather isn't exactly innocent of fighting smaller opponents either ... I was surprised how small Hatton looked against him and JMM shouldn't have been in the same ring as him.

Some fighters can start at lower weights and naturally grow into higher ones ... And others like Hatton, Gatti and JMM have clear ceilings they shouldn't go above

And Gatti hadn't put anyone on a stretcher for a while ... I will give him his due ... I love his bodyshot ko of dorin but otherwise his ko power had diminished as he went up in weight

True enough. But how is that relevant to what's being discussed? Because if you really want to get technical, Dick Ryan beat Brian Nielson who was on a 49 fight winning streak. So ha!
