And yes, it is the worst excuse I've ever heard.

 

Wlad has said publicly that he will be ready. There is no reason to doubt him. Haye should just sign the contract.

Worst case scenario, let's say Wlad gets injured fighting Chisora. That leaves Haye in the same situation he is in today (by refusing to sign) - having to fight his mandatory, Chagaev.

So you see, there's no downside, no risk to Haye signing the contract. Unless he just doesn't want to get KO'd, and is running like a little school girl.

 

i have always agreed haye is ducking klit, however my opinion is starting to change.

This would be the biggest fight of klit's carrer, why not just wait and finally get haye in the ring............if that's what klit actually wants????????
Haye caved into all demands on $ and location, I can'y thonk of one good reason not to just wait it out and get the fight and payday of a life time here.
klit hasn't been in a meaningful fight in years, and has lost most fans in USA, however if he were to beat haye his star would be bigger than ever.
W/ klit in the uninspiring fight w/ chirora, haye could make klit look stupid by fighting adamek in msg/ and getting all the HW attention while klit reapeats his boring fights against bums.

 

There is no reason that Wlad needs to fight Chisora. He is not Wlad's mandatory so essentially he has chosen a non mandatory fight over Haye. We need to ask ourselves why this is the case. If you listen to Haye speak he does not sound like he is 'pleased' he has got out of the fight. He sounds pissed off and bewildered. Nothing has been signed for June 2 between Haye and Wlad either so it's not a case of Haye saying he won't fight Wlad because Wlad won't be ready. Haye is simply saying we agreed to EVERYTHING that Klitschko asked for and then he upped and agreed to fight Chisora and said 'oh yeah but I might still fight you on July 2' It's bull****. At first I thought Haye was ducking Wlad but I don't see how that can be argued for now. Wlad is quite obviously the one backing out here, not Haye, who has literally done everything bar make Vitali the referee in the fight, that he could have done. All this rubbish with tv dates is nonsense too. July 2 was fine with both of them. If Wlad doesn't want to be inactive for that long there is nothing stopping a tune up late March early April.

 

I feel the same way! Haye did everthing to get the fight! Seems like wlad isnt very confident in beating david haye like he said all the time like: david haye is an easy payday and so on....

Imagine if Wlad saw Haye jogging and canceled the fight b/c Haye might pull a muscle and ruin the fight. That's only a little more ******ed than Haye's excuse.

 

Haye is the REAL ***** here its just the board is flooded with english posters and its clear who's side they are on and there media.

 

The point which you have missed, is that Wladamir has not said he WILL fight Haye on July 2nd. Of course he is not up in the air but that's the way it could be construed if you look at how Wlad has backed out. All he has is a tentative agreement to fight Haye. That means NOTHING. The issue here is not that Haye is saying 'you won't be ready' so I can't fight you. He is saying we could have fought on the 2 July but you have a fight very close to that with Chisora now and you have not signed a contract to fight me on 2 July. That makes very little sense. Do you really think Wlad will fight Haye within 8 weeks of Chisora? Of course not, that would be the shortest camp he will have had in years for his biggest fight.

I don't know whether he has refused but he certainly hasn't done it. If Wlad intended to fight on July 2 then surely he would have signed? Haye also needs to fight Chagaev if he is to keep his title. So essentially now Wlad has done this Haye needs to quickly set that fight up as early as is reasonably possible for him to do so in order to keep his belt AND still fight Wlad on July 2 - something he can't even be sure will happen.

 

:rofl... so how are things more up in the air w/ a Chisora fight than he is w/o one? Haye withdrew the offer when he learned Wlad was taking a tune-up. If that contract was still on the table, Wlad would sign it and kick 2 asses in 9 weeks.
