Casey should spar, spar John Joe Nevin-he's the nearest thing to Rigo out there.

 

RealDeal, what do you think about a bout between Rigondeaux and Gamboa at 126lbs? Hard one...

In Cuba, Rigo was way better but in the pros Gamboa seems ahead of Rigo ...

 

Cant see Casey pulling it off. If you look at Rigo's early fights, granted those guys aren't as good as Casey, he slows his opponents down to fight at his pace so easily. Guys come out pressuring and are soon standing still in front of him and are basically punching bags. This I fear will happen to Big Bang after a couple of body shots.

I admit I have not seen Casey fight before, but I did look at some of those clips posted up. By what I say in those clips, Casey fights in a style that is well suited for Rigon. The Cuban will counter him all night. I can see Casey making a big mistake out of fustration and then getting nailed with a wicked body shot, similar to the one Cordoba got dropped with.

 

Totally agree, and Rigo achieved that in his 300+ International fights! In reality, Rigo has around 10 years of World Class level experience even though it was at the amateurs. :good

I love Casey, but for me Irelands next big thing is Frampton. He's world class.
