According to Dan Rafael. Good fight but one Linares should win. Far superior to Murray in almost every department but there's always going to be that question mark over his chin. And if it does happen about time Murray had a big fight.

Yeah hopefully he'll be here to let us know. Apparently Ortiz is a possibility as well for the card, though who against is anyone's guess.

He won't be a nobody if he beats Linares. Glass jaw or not.

he might have a glass jaw, but john isent a one punch specialist, wrong fight for him, the linares ive seen is an absolute killer compared to johns previose opposition.

Agree but Linares hasnt done much at lightweight. I would be suprised if John takes this fight.
If he does I favour Linares dont think Murray hits hard enough.

Lets hope with the main event not being too hot in PPV terms they decide to pack the undercard a bit (we can but hope!).

If Frank snaps up Murray, no way this fight happens.

I wasnt planning on buying the PPV(though I usually give in last minute) but if the undercard does heat up I'll probably take a punt on it.

Linares is better than many give him credit for. Good jab, high-workrate, mixes up his punches. But he struggled with an ageing Larios in his crossover fight, early on admittedly, but all the same.

He might find the constant pressure and John's compact punching hard to deal with. We'll see - it would be a HUGE step up for John.

If the fight is offered to John then this is it. This must not be turned down in any circumstance. It puts him on the biggest platform and a win over Linares gets him right in the mix.

Even if the consensus is that Murray would be an outsider for this, he has to go for it.
