Haye-Klitschko Theory. Putting my balls on the line here!

Sounds a bit like conspiracy theory from a Jason Bourne movie. Life`s usually a lot more simpler.

But since I really would like to see this fight happening, I´m wanting to believe that this could be the case.

 

Maybe both Haye and Wlad are trying to entice HBO to carry their fight PPV in the USA. This is an opportunity for both to take low risk fights, make some good cash, continue promoting this possible super fight, get out of contracts with both Sky and RTL, and land a huge Mega Million deal in Vegas carried by a network that is currently ignoring both of them but will undoubtedly yield them both far more cash than the previously named ones in their respective home countries. They will cash in even more by selling the rights to both Sky and RTL through HBO.

To sum it all up, it's all about getting the biggest bang for the buck. Both Wlad and Haye know that and probably even had a nice comfortable dinner and discussed it.

 

What would Putin and Obama's role be in this? And what about the possibility that the Queen of England sold her jewels to finance the underground betting in London for this fight?

 

Sounds entirely believable, and I already thought this may be the case. I don't blame them either, they're prizefighters after all...................

 

Probably nobody will invest more than RTL but if Wlad is not under any kind of deal with them he can make a killing by fighting Haye as a one off fight rather than part of a 3 or 4 fight contract.RTL would be getting it on the cheap if he fought Haye next.

I'd suspect that the truth lies somewhere in that neighborhood.

To put it simple, I think it is like this.

Haye's move to HW, his subsequent fights with Don King fighters and his gifted title was predetermined in a shady backroom deal involing Don King/Sauerland. This was because it was thought Haye would be a more compelling champion who could generate higher revenues.

Haye took the opportunity to start mouthing off, not expecting to actually get a title shot...or two...from K2. Knowing he had no chance of winning, he chose to stall for as long as possible, hoping to create publicity and future earnings and notoriety. Everything from his gifted title until now have all been games to bait Wlad into a major payday for Haye, and get public interest in boxing.

Interestingly enough, Haye's Sauerland contract is ending around the time he fights Wlad. Does anyone really believe that if by some miracle he wins the titles that Haye is going to retire? Are you kidding me? Hell no! He's going to sign with Don King. Mark my words.

Only problem is, Haye can't beat Wlad in fair boxing contest. So, of course he wants the fight in the UK where he might be gifted a decision.

How about that theory?

 

There is no chance of this happening, and I am going to bump this thread later on in the year...and everyone will laugh.

In this money mad age of the sport this could be the case. Id rather this than Haye not ever fighting either brother.

Interesting and plausible theory sir... I'd like to see it... only problem I have is that there were several possible financial theories for the Pac and Mayweather fight not happening right away, when it turned out they just didn't want to fight one another..... so I hope you're right.. but it could just be two egos standing in the way of this.... and one potential ducker...
