http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/boxing/article548123.ece RICKY HATTON sensationally aimed a death-threat gesture at Floyd Mayweather during a snarling bust-up here last night. The pair had gone nose-to-nose as they publicised Saturday’s WBC world welterweight mega-clash then became involved in a pushing match and had to be dragged apart by aides. And as Hatton walked away he drew his finger menacingly across his throat. He said: “I told him ‘You’re dead!’ I didn’t mean it literally, I just meant I’ll beat him. “If Floyd is annoyed at that then just wait until the first bell rings. He was definitely rattled.” Hatton explained his amazing actions, saying: “I was just my usual self. “He was leaning on me and I thought ‘don’t do that because I’ll lean back on you’. "When I did that, he started shouting ‘don’t touch me, don’t touch’. "I just smiled and gave him a bit of a you’re dead gesture. “He saw me 12 weeks ago when we went on a tour and I was laughing and joking — but I have not come to Las Vegas for a f***ing laugh. “My demeanour has not changed since I’ve been out here. I’m my usual witty, sarky, laugh-a-minute self but I have not come all this way just to muck about. “I knew what Mayweather was trying to do. He was trying to get that extra edge but it was not going to happen. “Stuff like that is water off a duck’s back to me. But for a guy like Mayweather, who lives off confidence so much and the mind games he plays, that would have hurt him much more than it would’ve hurt me. “I will go away now for a coffee and a c**p and forget it. Mayweather will go away seething. I will not lose one moment’s sleep. I don’t think Floyd can say the same.”
I really think hatton ahs done mayweather up like a kipper. I have never usually seen mayweather rattled like that before.
Hatton IS NOT SCARED OR INTIMIDATED by Mayweather. Unfortunately for him, he is in for a counter punching clinic and probably a boxing lesson.
