Why can't Haye fight Chagaev in March?

His reputation is apparently too busted up from the Harrison fight for him to even contemplate it fighting so soon again in the UK. lol

What I'm getting from his fans on this is that Haye doesn't want to risk making a fight with Chagaev in March to free him up to fight Wlad on July 2 because it won't generate as much money as he would want.

He'd rather risk making the fight with Chagaev as a PPV on July 2, instead of fighting Wlad.

 

All Haye has to do is agree to the date, sign the contract and we'll see.

 

He can't, the WBA mandatory must be in place by April 3rd or Haye gets stripped.

 

Sky TV have said they would not be willing to do a PPV event in March or April, as they have Khans PPV at that time, this really isn't K2 or Vlads fault, dont worry i think Chagaev will cause Haye lots of problems when they fight in the mandatory, Haye will no longer matter.

 

You're obviously not basing this on Chagaevs last fight are you? If that Chagaev shows up he's in big trouble.

We will see what chagajev turns up. If he gets anything above 70% Hayes busicuit jaw is due to get cracked.
I think the fight won't happen though. Too dangerous. Booth will wiggle himself out because of hep c.

Anyways I wouldn't want to fight someone with Hep C either, **** that.

Even if Haye doesn't fight Chagaev they move down the rankings to the next availible opponent.

With Valuev out of commision that means either Boystov or Povetkin will be installed as mandatory.

Chagaev is no more of a threat than those guys.

 

Hep B. Klychko had no problem taking an inoculation and fighting Ruslan on 2 weeks notice.

Boytsov is out again with hand surgery. So Povetkin would appear to be the next guy. That would generate decent interest and make for a good fight (if neither guy bitches out)
