Exactly, Chisora was never a tune up, he was a choice, a choice that Wlad made.

How was Haye ducking Wlad to fight Harrison? Didn't Wlad sign to fight Peter first?

Also if it was because Haye was demanding more than 50/50 'OF THE MONEY HE BRINGS IN' then so ****. He's entitled to have more than half of that.

And now he wants to honour the fight that he promised chis?
    Or an ass whoooping...
The boxing world doesn't work around Haye's retirement plan.
All Gaye had to ^^^so was find a pen and sign for the fight in July 2. And call vlads "bluff".

But I guess that was the straw that broke the camels back after all the "unreasonable" demands that wlad made...

And fact is te fight would of made web more cash with Chisora taking a beating for the uk public to watch...

Haye - Harrison made finacial sense in the UK no matter how much we hated the fight. Wlad - Chisora makes NO sense.

    End thread

You're not getting this are you?

There was no contract to sign the minute Chisora became involved.
WBA rules state a mandatory fight must be fought once a year. The Ruiz fight happened 3rd of April last year. That means the mandatory rulling must be in place by 3rd of April this year. Haye can't sign a contract to fight Wlad in a unification till after Chisora 30th APRIL.

    You getting this yet?

I don't think they'll ever get it. It's like talking to a wall.

    I give up.

Surely they can't be that thick though? I think they avoid it because it completely closes down any possible argument they have.

Wlad knew he had a choice, Chisora OR Haye, there was never a "tune up fight" and chose Chisora, FACT.

Probably but then I don't understand why people need to go to any length to 'defend their fighter' why can't they just look at a situation for what it is rather than this emotional attachment.

Boxingfanno1 & urahakisue, do you both realise that it is impossible for Haye to fight Vladimir before July as Sky have refused to do a PPV event before, now if either of you have ever boxed, you will now that as a fighter you need to stay active, so why does it it matter to Haye if Vlad fights Chisora in April, why should he stay inactive for 10 months since he last fought in AUGUST, as long as Vlad & K2 sign the contract for July, why did Haye then pull out of negotiations?. I personally feel it is because this would force Haye into a mandatory before then to fight Chagaev and he would not earn good money as it cannot be on PPV as Sky have refused before July due to an upcoming event with Khan. Haye is now in a very difficult situation, the Harrison fight was such a mistake, that fight was for easy money, real fight fans in the uk did not want it. I am still waiting for Haye to beat a decent heavyweight, Vladimir can say this as he beat Chagaev with style, over to you Mr Haye.

No, Haye is not worth more than 50% of any part of the proceeds.

    Here's why:

Haye isn't worth as much against anyone else, it has to be a Klitschko brother or no one takes him seriously anymore. The bros even gave him the choice but he chose to walk away.
