I think Brandon Rios, Ortiz will drop him but since Rios has the blood and heart of a real mexican he will get up and win the fight while Ortiz will cower into submission even though with his skills he could easily wipe rios... but his heart will give out.

Skill wise I think Ortiz easily but heart goes 2 Diaz thats why I think Diaz might pull it out

One thing is for sure, Brandon Rios would rip Ortiz apart in the trash talking department.

Based on recent fights, Ortiz seems to have his head back on. Rios came in flabby in his last fight, supposedly after training his butt off with Margacheato. Rios does have a solid chin. Sill, Ortiz wins and likely by KO. Would be a good fight to see, certainly over some of the lame fights we've been getting with big names on them.

Maidana took Ortiz's heart and willingness to engage and trade and he's clearly a different fighter these days. Without those two assets Ortiz is rather ordinary and boring. I go with Rios by KO.

    Diaz :huh

I'll go with Ortiz though he didn't answer all of his questions in his last fight with Peterson. However, Ortiz hits really hard at 140 and Rios hasn't taken a big punch from a world class 140lber.

The Lamont fight showed more deficiency's in Ortiz's game towards the final rounds, the fight should have ended in the third or fourth. Much closer fight for me now.

Seems like Ortiz just wants to knock everyone out fast instead of tactically breaking them down and stopping them.

Right now this fight is not likely to ever happen. Top Rank and Golden Boy are not talking much about anything right now. Ortiz is not keen on this fight either. He wants nothing to do with getting in the ring with Rios. Too much to lose and nothing to gain. If this fight were to ever happen Rios would stop Ortiz in brutal fashion.

Being a Kansas area man, you have any good stories on Ortiz?

I think Rios would hang in there and shatter Ortiz Glass Jaw and we all know Ortiz has ZERO heart.
