Michael Schiavello, Good Night Irene

He's my favorite action caller in MMA and maybe all of combat sports.

People who hate on him are just ridiculous.

He brings deep knowledge, passion and comic relief to the job. Nobody else in his profession combines those elements like he does. Nobody.

I like michael schavello, he's funny as **** and gets so excited during the fights, I'd rather him than some boring announcer who never raises his voice or anything

 

I like him. Very passionate and admits he has faves. He knows more about the stories, gyms and striking. Overall, Rogan is a much more astute caller.

Boxing doesn't really have anybody that's the total package like him. He is sort of an amalgamation of the best qualities of Colonel Bob Sheidan (childlike enthusiasm and distinctive voice) and Al Bernstein (insightful observation based on years of intense self-education and genuine fandom).

yeah I like him too, does a great job. When I listened to him the first time I thought he was a bit over the top, but he's grown on me though.

He needs to come up with a few more lines that the crosses .... more crosses than a church!!

 

When is the last time he called a pro boxing match? :huh

He certainly does know his boxing lore, as he references it quite often when calling MMA and K1.

i like schiavello but im not a fan of him openly cheering on 1 fighter over another as was the case with reem vs badi hari. funny as it was

He cheers on whoever is currently opening a can of whoopass. I've heard him completely change allegiance in the middle of a fight...sometimes even in the middle of a round. :yep
