Irish Boxing

I just hope there will be a bus running from somewere in town to take us out to Citywest for the fight and back into the city after the fight as it will cost a small bomb getting back into the city.
With the fight being shown in the US do we have any idea what time the fight will be on at will it be a later start than normal?

It will be the first time that in a fight I will be sitting on the fence. I like both lads it will be a hard fight for the both of them. IF Duddy looses he may well call it a day if you ask me. IF Lee looses he starts over again. Duddy needs to win the fight more than Lee but I honestly cant see him beating Lee. After his last defeat to fight Lee is a very stupid fight for Duddy you would of hoped he would of had a fight before this fight so I respect Duddy for taking the fight on.

 

Ill definitely be supporting Andy Lee. Met him and hes a real genuine fella. Plus I think hes a far better boxer than Duddy

Im rooting for Lee, both duddy and lee are genuine, nice fellas annd id like to see both do well but i feel that Lee has the better future so im backing him. Duddys already had his chances at the top level and now its lees time.

Well, that's a pretty clear consensus.

Presumably most of you would cheer on Duddy 99% of the time otherwise? I had been under the impression he enjoyed popularity in Ireland comparable to Trinidad's in PR.

I think most people had hoped when this fight happened it would be for a major title, and would be split 50/50. At this stage Lee is the best hope for the future and has the most to gain. This should be a main event though, it's criminal that it's just an undercard in the middle of nowhere.

Id imagine the Irish American audience will be very pro Duddy and thats where most of his success/popularity is. Id think Lee is much better known here. My mam and girlfriend know who Lee is, they couldnt pick Duddy out of a line up with the Mayweather clan
