British Board likely to reject Chagaev

I think Sauerland will be pushing Haye into a defence with Povetkin if Chagaev deal falls through.

 

What about Eddie Chambers? What happened to him?

 

Chambers is fighting Derek Rossy in Feb

 

haye realistically needs to fight chag or povetkin in this mandatory. chambers would be a great opponent but he aint ranked high enough.

 

Id be happy with chageav or povetkin seeing as wlad, vitali and adamek appear tied elsewhere (ducking...). Povetkin would be my choice

 

A fight with Povetkin would be acceptable but I don't think either fighter would want it.

 

Tarver has been twittering Haye for a fight!

"David Haye it's Antonio Tarver I hear you got some free time on your hand since you and Wladimir Klitschko had to push back. How about you and I get a date around April you can call it your US debut, it's the biggest fight you can make that name don't end in Klitschko..."

 

The WBA top 10 is largely a list of bums and has-beens.
Same kind of fighters Haye's already been fighting at HW.

How the hell Rahman and Valuev are still ranked I don't know.

 

Haye from financial sense would make more money fighting in the uk against however than fighting tarver in the US

Tarvers only had one fight at heavyweight

He can't fight tarver after audley. Not great preparation for if he does get klitschko

 

Its a shame if they do.Its not the fight people wanted to see but at least Chagaev is a proven fighter at this level.The list of other possible opposition is not good,its very unlikely to be Adameck or Povetkin so another Audley type match up would be made.Chagaev would have been a decent test at least.

 

chageav looked bad in his last fight vs a no namer.

if he cant fight in uk,maybe haye has to find place to fight him,so U.S debut in vegas.

if he can get another mandatory,ide like it to be povetkin,good pedigree,improving somewhat. wlad chased him down for fights so why not haye?.

if haye can choose a fight,poach adamek.

uk or us fight, loads of poles here in uk,so big money in it too!.

also Haye will offer more money and better contract to adamek,and give him the shot sooner,i imagine adamek thinks Haye is the easier one to fight too.

if haye has a war of stealing best opponents,i see him winning each time.

he needs to fight vitali in summer though. its clear wlad will never fight him,wlad see's no weakness in which wlad can exploit,only how haye has everything needed to stop him.
