Inconsistency of Wladimir's fans

No probs, I'll admit I am a fan of Haye to an extent, but I'm not like a fan boy in any way whatsoever. I have no problem calling people out on their bull**** - for example, one counter argument to this is that if Haye had not fought that pathetic joke of a fight against Audley Harrison then this fight could have been happening within the next month or two.

Fundementally I'm a fan of boxing above any individual fighter and base my opinions on actual facts, unlike a lot of the teeny boppers who just come here to praise and defend their idols and abuse everyone else.

Exactly... Haye has actually really pissed me off over the past year with his inactivity, and fighting Fraudley but I have followed the guys career, acknowledge his talents, risks he took in his early career at Cruiser and look at the facts in situations like the current one between Haye and the Klits and then see Rushman repeating on every Haye/Klitschko thread for Haye to stop being a ***** and sign a contract that doesn't exist and has been explained on every other thread doesn't exist and it boils my ****... mainly through having to keep repeating myself to blinded haters but also because the ignorance of some people infuriates me.

Let me tell you this, i'm a big klitschko fan, no matter wladimir or vitali.
i've been to a lot of fights of both brothers, but right now, i'm a little bit sick about big fights not coming, not only in the heavy's, but in every division.
In the heavyweight division we have a view good fights possible, wladimir klitschko, vitali klitschko, david haye and thomasz adamek. you can match it the way you want.
But don't blame it all on wladimir, haye didn't want wladimir to take on chisora before facing him on july 2.
and haye already run away from both brothers.
but ok, we need good fights, and i don't want to see, one of the brothers beating up another pretender!
there are talks about klitschko vs adamek in september, i like that, thats a good fight.
lets still hope klitschko vs haye decide to fight!

Are you guys sure that Haye would be forced to do his mandatory in this scenario? Wouldnt it be possible to negotiate some special conditions in the light of a possible Wlad-Haye fight in July? (Like Haye has to fight his mandatory later this year in case chisora wins or he has to fight chisora or whatever)? Because even in the statements from the Haye side this issue has not be brought up as the main reason for Haye not to sign. It was rather the "I dont believe Wlad will fight me 9 weeks after ..." thing.

I have not seen many interviews since the fight fell through to be honest. I have read that he has stated that he he has to fight his mandatory so the Chisora fight means the unification fight is a nogo. But like you also say, he does say that he doesn't believe Wlad would fight him 9 weeks later.

ONe option would have been for Haye to get his mandatory out of the way in March (he can't do April as there is no TV date). Then the fight could have been made over summer

First of all... the TV network went under AFTER that fight was supposed to take place. Also, if that was the case... why was Haye telling Wlad that he needed Wald to wait until September for him to get healthy again... when their fights was supposed to happen in June? Haye faked an injury so he didn't have to fight. If it were really because the TV Network went down, then he would, and should have simply said so. He would have just came out and said... I am not going to fight for free and everyone would understand. The point is that he FAKED an injury, and then said that he wouldn't be healthy again until September. I guess the TV network going under caused his back injury... forcing him to stay away from training until the end of July, and then back in the ring by September. Haye actually didn't fight again until November, and was inactive for a full year. Remember... he also agreed to a fight with Vitali Klitschko... and then backed out that last minute to take on the paper champ Valuev, who was handed the WBA belt after Wlad knocked out the true WBA Champ, when Haye pulled out of their fight.

Poor David Haye... he's always so "gutted" to give the fans bad news.

 

Oh, great logic. 'Everyone would understand' - yeah, that's going to stand up against a legally binding contract saying Haye is liable for damages should he pull out of the fight. Come on, use your brain.

The television company had already defaulted on payments to the Premier League and it was common knowledge that administration was inevitable within weeks. If they can not pay their current debts then they're not going to pay Haye are they! This would obviously have been communicated to David Haye. You think they're going to pluck his TV money from somewhere? Please address this.

As for 'just admitting' to it being television related, do you not think that pulling out of the fight when you're completely healthy is going to make you liable for a huge amount of money in damages to the Klitschkos? An injury is the perfect way to avoid this.

Also, if you remember - he never asked to wait until september he asked to postpone the fight for a few weeks. He actually got abuse on this site from people saying "What kind of injury is it if can guarantee he'll be fine to fight in 3 weeks. In hindsight he needed to quickly negotiate himself a new TV deal. But Wlad had a venue and a tv date set and chose to proceed with a stand in opponent, as was his prerogative.
