    Sadly for ice hockey, it's close to being a non-televised sport once again. (exaggeration but viewership and sponsors are on the decline).

    Not in Canada but yes in some southern and western states it doesnt work. And L.A. has an amazing young team.

    Not that this is a particularly great call or anything, but it reminds you of how dreadful HBO is. Kellerman and Papa are the only announcers they should retain. Merchant is just goddamn awful, Steward has gotten noticeably worse recently, and Lampley is an annoying mofo who is a decent broadcaster only 50% of the time.

    Mike Costello is a useful boxing commentator,this station 5 live by the BBC is the only one i listen to.

    I swear to god Hopkins vs Howard Eastman on BBC radio was one of the most exciting fights I've followed live ever.

    i watched this live on sky sprts with watt & darke commentary

    was quality coverage

    watch hatton v mayweather with sky sports commentary
    it is a great atmosphere

    then

    watch the same fight with merchant / steward

    totally spoils a classic fight !
