    Marquez last fights.....

    vs Floyd = no contest.

vs Casamayor = past his prime.

vs Diaz = Marquez beat his own leftover.:rofl

vs Katz = Marquez beat his leftover's leftover:rofl

No, Marquez is not overrated, but a draw and a lost to Pacquiao is better than that mentioned above.:deal

If anything he is slightly underrated, how do these bull**** threads manage to amount to so many pages? Most of the best threads end up on page 2 in an hour or two yet **** like this stays put? I don't get this place sometimes.

Most thought he won atleast 1 of those fights with Pac

I scored both them to JMM personally so he is underrated if anything.

If Pac is seen as in the same bracket as Mayweather(debatable) then so is Marquez for me, although he is alot further past his prime then both of those now at 37/38

Pac at no point proved - when both were close to prime - to be any more than on the same level as JMM at best.

PBF proved to be above JMM (albeit in a bull**** fight, JMM is maxed out at 135 and was the elder man by a few years), in reality he isnt as much ahead as that fight says, especially prime for prime at JMM's best weights.

Now away and suck MAB dick :good

the man is good and effective. his fighting style is one of the best but so sad
that during his prime he never met a tough boxer ..morales and barrera were
in their primes.too.:bbb.i just wonder why they did not met ?:hi:

No. What happened was in their first meeting Junior Jones got the better of a 22 year old Marco Antonio Barrera. He landed a sharp right hand that the Mexican didn't see and Marco was badly hurt, but got up only to be knocked down again before the bell for the end of the round sounded. Regrettably, MAB's corner-man then ran into the ring which got MAB disqualified. First professional defeat.

In the rematch, a tentative MAB boxed with Junior Jones, earning himself up a pretty substantial lead on the cards before giving away the majority of the last 4-5 rounds. Junior Jones was awarded a tight decision, and Harold Lederman only had a point in it. Some observers even managed to score the fight for MAB, but I didn't.

Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather are substantially greater fighters than JMM. It's irrefutable.

can not over rate marquezs skills, and top level of opponents overall.

how ever,if people think a lightweight marquez can become a light welter/welter and beat welterweight pac, just cuz marquez brawled and won vs diaz and katsidis, they could be very wrong.

pac has improved,he is a natural welterweight fighter now.

    marquez is not.
