I think everyone should watch out for Overeem, he can destroy man, little girl, and bicycle with devastation!!!!!!

Seriously I am very exited for this, but to be honest dana white does not need to be sweating bullets because only hardcore fans (like us) actually see the importance of this great tournament the rest dont even know who fedor, overeem, and werdum are... sadly.

Dana and his team understand the mind of mma fans, hopefully I am wrong and they can expand their minds to other things besides the ufc, they did tune in to see Kimbo Slice after all.

Man with that bracket fedor vs barnett could be in the finals. I was expecting overeem vs fedor but we could be watching that match up in the semifinal.

I hope arlovski kick ass cuz i want to see arlovski vs barnett in the semifinal.

I also see Barnett in the final, but I think Overeem will beat Fedor.
Never underestimate the first (real) loss of a fighter, so I wouldn't even be surprised if Silva beats Fedor. He didn't get beat up as Belfort or Machida did, but I think the opponents now get the feeling they can actually beat Fedor.

I like Josh to win the whole thing. Agree about Fedor, looks so beatable now. Imagine when Overeem was losing to everyone at 200lbs someone had told you he would be favored to beat Fedor at heavyweight a few years later.

Personally, I think the more beatable a fighter thinks Fedor is, the more dangerous he is. Props to Werdum, but Arlovski got cocky and he got ****ing decimated. Same with Rogers. It'll happen again and again. You do not strike with that dude, Werdum has shown his "let him come to you" routine works, but 9/10 guys will not get that locked in, in my eyes.

I just hope the tournament goes without a hitch. This tournament needs to be completed, and hopefully inside a year. The main purpose of this tournament is to let the UFC branded world realize that the sport is called Mixed Martial Arts, the UFC is just an organization, and there are some serious fighters outside of the UFC organization. I've heard that StrikeForce has a strong grass root sort of base, and is more of a threat to hang around than EliteXC or Affliction. It will still keep fighters outside the UFC with a lesser chance of becoming anything near mainstream if this tournament fails to come off.

I would have preffered that after each round was completed the next round was drawn instead of being predetermined like it is now.

It means that now if overeem & Fedor get through their first fights they will be guaranteed to meet in the second round. Random draw makes it less predictable and means no one is guaranteed an "easy road" to the final.

As it stands Barnett should be able to win his side

I think the winner of Overeem-Fedor Vs a Barnett coming off two wins is a seriously intriguing matchup. Underestimate Barnett at your peril, with the draw he's got he could well win the whole thing.

I would never underestimate Barnett, no one should. He is a very well rounded fighter, he is a smart fighter as well.

If not for him testing positive to steroids he would have fought fedor already, I think he would have been a live dog in that fight. A wonderful matchup actually.

Whoever wins the tournament, will be definition achieve something great.....and lay claim to the throne of the number 1 heavyweight MMA fighter in the world.

Fedor was the champion/ the man/ the lineal until he lost to Werdum......and Overeem has the title.

The likes of Barnett are very underrated, and Arvloski, Rogers, Khartinov, Bigfoot Silva are all top 15 guys.
