yeah you are entitled to an opinion, but if your going to try and take that road, you should also realise that your opinion should be constructive and relevant to the subject matter. And i do have my own opinions, one of which that your an absolute twat.

now ,back to the topic at hand, go lenny, i truly think he can give vasquez a shakeup and do aussies proud in this division , i wish him all the best :thumbsup

What a moron. You wanna chat about the Agulo fight but conveniently forget to mention the Kim fight. A totally dominant display against a higher ranked fighter.

Yeah, you seem like a real smart bloke!

I agree with the Angulo bout, that Lenny didnt look that great.
However Angulo failed to make weight & definitely came in the heavier guy come fight night.

I personally would like Lenny to have a couple more bouts before taking on Vazquez however the opportunity is huge & should Lenny win bigger names & paydays await.

why?angulo a fighter on a losing streak beat the **** out of zappa but being the lucky lad he was christmas came a little early and he got his gift over a journeyman:yep, its bonified facts which i'm stating angulo got robbed, beating a 1 dimensional ji hoon kim in a round has no bearing on what vasquez will do to him

u could have been fair (but why would u do that) and said that it was when zappa got the bad cut that he lost the plot.
it was really affecting him, and his inexperience made it hard to deal with.

i think he was going fine till then.

Lenny must be on the right track if he's already getting haters.

I only watched his fight against Angulo not score it round-by-round and my initial thoughts were a draw or a win for Angulo, however if I had scored it, it may have been a different story. I think we can agree it was a close fight and Lenny didn't look as spectacular as he had against lesser opponents. Couldn't find an upload on youtube, so if anybody has a link to the fight I'd love to watch it again.

As somebody pointed out Angulo came in overweight and has been fighting in a higher weight class ever since so Lenny was in with somebody bigger and more experienced than himself (Which includes pushing former-lightweight champ Juan Diaz to the limit).

This was also a massive step up for Lenny fighting in only his third 12-rounder and second-only time outside of Australia. Definitely his biggest test since St Clair.

To me the experienced he gained against Angulo will be more beneficial than if he had dominated him from round 1 to 12. He had to overcome a dangerously cut eye, dirty boxing, and he was put in a situation where he wasn't comfortable and had to fight in a way he wasn't accustomed to.

Mark my words if they ever rematched, Lenny would have already learnt and adjusted and would either dominate or stop Angulo in the later rounds.

If Lenny has taken the necessary steps of improvement since the Angulo fight then he'll put up a reasonable performance in this fight.

As it stands Lenny shld have 1 loss next to his name.

I just hope the Kim fight wasn't a fluke or a bit iffy for a pay day etc
