Bellew vs Stubbs - Feb 19th at York Hall

Your husband got his chance and got beaten by tony Oakey. Do you know who tony oakey is? Do a search on boxrec to see his record and form at the time your husband lost to him.

The general consensus is that Bellew would seriously hurt your husband in the ring. I personally think your husband would be in grave danger because it is a terrible mismatch. However, that is merely my opinion. However, I'm sure most of the people in this thread who are saying he "deserves a chance" would be picking Bomber to bomb him out of there.

Lirva, I seem to remember in a topic not too long ago you didnt have one positive thing to say about Bomber, now all of a sudden that there is another person to antagonise your piping up again but this time backing Tony!
Boxing is as much about the art of preparation as the highlight videos you watch on Youtube and develop puddle deep opinions from. Both fighters mentioned are dedicated to their sport and I bet had it happened it would have been a great fight. If all your on here to do is get peoples backs up then **** off back to playing world of warcraft! Nobody claims to have an indefinite boxing knowledge on here but most of us go about what we post with a bit of respect. Grow up or do one!

 

I don't really see the problem with what I have said. Instead of attacking me, lets talk boxing.

I've criticised Bellew for several things but I'm sure you don't even know what I have criticised, do you?

I've said Bellew would demolish Jeffries, as I'm sure you don't know. And I am saying he would demolish Stubbs, who lost to Oakey. If you disagree with that, please point out why and we can discuss. Otherwise, what is the problem with what I have said?

I have no interest in discussing anything with you, you have made it clear why you come on here and its not to exchange opinions on fighters etc. Its to try and cause arguments and stoke the flames afterwards.

 

Do you really think she knows the ins and outs of Oakeys career and his form at the time of the Stubbs fight as much as we do? Also are you ignoring her initial attack on me as well, call me a "*****" when I hadn't even addressed her? She gets a pass because shes a boxers bird?

Again, do you actually think Stubbs has even a remote chance of winning the fight? Bellew would bomb him out easily.

You are not talking boxing here at all because you know I am right.

 

Why wouldnt she? She clearly has the internet and a telly and her husband is involved in the sport. IMO she has more information at her disposal than you or I

I do think Bomber would come through this one but only on the back of what I have seen of him so far as I know very little about Stubbs and havent claimed to at any point before that comes back to haunt me.

 

it's clear she doesn't mate. She came on saying he deserved a chance and I simply said he lost to Oakey so doesn't deserve a chance over the likes of mcKenzie. If she was just a regular poster, you wouldn't have a problem with what I am saying because I am clearly right. But apparently you would rather see Bellew vs Stubbs than Bellew vs McKenzie.

In any case, Bellew moves on to fight McKenzie and its a fight I will watch for sure.

she's entitled to her opinion,even better if its an inside one, . Theres been worse matches made, plus bellew is very beatable, lets be honest, he's unskilled , vulnerable, but can punch, theres a defeat coming shortly for him, he,s well to big for lightheavy,needs to move up, though he's entertaining to watch, gives value for money, as he's looking to do damage, rather than being a hopping flicking machine.:think:good
