Been retired for years mate. I seen him fight Grant Proudfoot in Jan 92..A ripper battle... and other bouts afterwards... Last heard he might be on the Gold Coast or Surfers??

Not seen him in 15 years.

Interesting you call yourself Tasbox.. Nath was a Tassie boy...

    Thanks bloke much appreciated.

Yes,I am from Tassie also and did box(amateur) myself when i was in my teens. This was at the same time as Nathan. We were in different weight classes and i didn't have much to do with him but did hear he turned pro and was doing quite well for himself.
I drifted away from the sport due to health reasons and because of this lost the passion for the sport.Nathan used to fight out of George Town and I was up in Burnie.

I was just browsing some boxing archives the other night and his name popped up and was curious as to how he ended up.

look him up on ''boxrec tasbox , that'll give you the best go on how he went mate. know he was a very very handy slippery customer as a amateur , gave our local champ cliffy samardin 4 or 5 close goes in amateur championships . good luck mate.

Do you know any one who may have a tape of the 1994 A.B.L. Victoria vs. South Australia fights in Mount Gambia? Matty Trihey, Sam Soloman, four of Bryce's boys including myself ,I think Lincoln Stewert may have fought on the card. I'm desperately chasing a copy and due to the fact it was hosted by S.A.A.B.L. Bob Remnant had nothing to do with filming it, and he doesn't know how to find a copy. I'll shout beer all day for anyone who can find one.:thumbsup

Tas, I have Nat's fight with Proudfoot on tape.. average quality footage, but the video clarity is ok.... shakey camera work. Brad Mayo made his debut vs Phil Screen on the same show. Keefy was looking after Nat by then.

Good talent, was fabulous the night he won WBU 8 st 10 title by dominating then WBA # 7 Johnny Armour in England, then defended v Nicky Booth in a tremendous scrap.

Unfortunately, then got brainwashed by Englishmen and left Les Wilson. Never fought for over a year when he was on the back of two excellent performances.

Losses to Skinny and Wehbee affects his overall status on world scene.
