    I agree, tough one here...

Although I haven't picked yet, I think I'm starting to believe Jamoye is the right choice.

Lucas Matthysse vs. DeMarcus Corley- Lucas Matthysse by KO
Stephane Jamoye vs Jamie McDonnell- Jamie McDonnell by UD
Evander Holyfield vs. Sherman Williams- Evander Holyfield by KO

Matthysse-Corley is very interesting. Matthysse is much like Maidana, very strong, very powerful, and seems to have a great chin. Anybody that takes a Judah counter uppercut right on hte chin and gobbles it up and smiles has an outstanding chin. Then you have good ole DeMarcus Chop Chop Corley. Going back to wait I said last year when he fought Maidana, In his 13 losses he has only been stopped 3 times, and when you look at his resume he's been stopped by fighter he shouldn't have been stopped by and he has went the distance to fighters you wouldn't think that he would last the distance with. He has gone the distance with Judah, Witter, Alexander, and the KO King Randall Bailey. So, he is a very interesting fighter...oh yea and he went all 8 with the KO King and Alexander in 2008 so he's not like he was fresh or anything like that. He also was starched by Freddy Hernandez earlier in 2010 on ShoBox in a very underrated fight, and underrated KO from this year. And in this fight against Matthysse it's really hard to predict because I think Corley still has enough juice in the tank to give Matthysse problems early, just like Vivian Harris was doing early before the ridiculous stoppage, but being on the road and being very very shopwarn I've gotta think that Matthysse will eventually get him and stop him around round 7, 8, 9 somewhere in there.

Jamie McDonnell-Stephane Jamoye. Jamoye is a tough son of a *****. Comes forward and really lets those hands go. He is a bit on the small side and McDonell has a big advantage in terms of size. His only lost was in Mexico vs Tomoki Kameda in which it was originally ruled a draw, but then changed to a SD in favor of Kameda. Then the hometown fighter in this fight Jamie McDonnell will be fighting at home, defending his Euro title for the 2nd time and with him having a big size advantage and experience advantage that will probably be enough to win him the fight. Jamoye is very tough, but with him going in McDonnell's backyard and probably needing a KO to win the fight, it'll be tough and with the very wide odds on this fight really lead me to believe that if it is a close fight, and it probably will be, McDonnell will get the nod. So, with all that said I would love to take jamoye, but McDonnell has too much on his side that favor him. I'll take McDonnell by a UD. One judge has the score and already has it talled up 118-110 in his favor and the other two judges might be a bit better, but still giving it to McDonnell 115-113 and the other 116-112.

Evander Holyfield fighting Sherman Williams in 2011...so many things wrong with that phase. First of all why is Holyfield fighting in 2011, and why is fighting Sherman Williams? :patsch :scaredas: :-( Just so so wrong, but what can you do this fight is actually happening. So, anyway, Holyfield....obviously we can't look at Holyfield's past history and say well he fought Bowe and Tyson...so he should beat Sherman Williams. But in Holyfield's last fight against Francois Both  Holyfield looked....well he looked great for a 48 year old man you gotta give him props for that, but as far as boxing ability he looked bad, and when you compare prime Holyfield to current Holyfield he looked even worse. Very slow, no footwork, winging punches...still has the power his only attribute left, but other than that looked really bad. Then Sherman Williams, only couple of times I've heard of him is when he fought Chagaev and McCline. Other than that, never seen him, and looking at his resume he has nothing much going for him besides those two names. 11 losses only 1 by stoppage so give him some brownie points for that. The fighter that stopped hid was Robert Davis who just recently got...who just recently lost to David El Nino Rodriguez. And Robert Davis has a record of 32-11 right now. So, with all that said I'll go with Holyfield by KO. Holyfield should win this fight, he is the headline fighter, and he already has another fight scheduled so Holyfield should win, how he'll win by I'm not sure, but I'll go with a win by stoppage because Holyfield still has power.

I think McDonnell's home advantage might just give him the edge.

I was just thinking this. I didn't realise McD had the home advantage until reading Demo Dan's breakdown.

If this fight is ANY sort of close, I feel McD will walk away with a decision... I still am torn on my pick though...

I changed my pick only once last year and it cost me. I'm sticking with jamoye, although not with a lot of faith.

    Alexander Camp Notes
    This content is protected

Camp Location: I am training in Las Vegas for this fight. While I have trained here before when I fought out of the Cory Spinks camp, for my last two fights my promoter, Don King, allowed me to live in the home where Mike Tyson lived when he trained in Vegas. I love it. It gives me inspiration to know I’m sleeping in the same bed “Iron” Mike slept in when he trained here.

Training Regimen: My trainer, Kevin Cunningham, took me up to the mountains outside Las Vegas last year to a little ski resort at the top of Mt. Charleston to run. I call it ‘The Monster’ and its one of my biggest challenges while training. I have to face and conquer it three times a week, and with snow on the ground now, it has become much tougher.

Every day, we go out for a six-mile run in the morning, and then head to the gym in the afternoon. My workouts include shadow boxing, mitt work, heavy bag, speed bag, sparring and jumping rope. I average 30 rounds per day in the gym, Monday through Saturday. And on the seventh day, I rest.

Diet: Basically as far as meat, I only eat salmon, tilapia, turkey breast and chicken breast. The rest of it is fruits and vegetables. It’s just fuel for me. I want to eat what will make me perform best.

Personal sacrifice: Eating light is not my only sacrifice during this training camp. Due to this fight being in January, I’ve had to give up the holidays with my friends and family back in St. Louis, which is hard. My kids will wake up on Christmas day without dad being there. I was in the gym on Christmas. Come January 29, that’s something else that Tim Bradley is going to have to pay for. I think about that every day.

    BRADLEY Camp Notes
    This content is protected

Camp Location: I am back in Indio, Calif., where all of my camps have taken place. I have never found the need to go anywhere else as my family is not a distraction and does not get in the way of how my camp goes. My family is what keeps me strong. If I had to go somewhere else, I would not be able to focus the way I do because I would be worrying about them.

Training regiment: My training is Monday through Saturday and consists of running 45 minutes daily, sparring a few times during the week, strength training twice a week, and most of all doing my best to execute the plan.

Diet: My diet consists of grains, vegetables, and my protein sources come from tofu, tempeh, beans and nuts. Turning vegetarian for every training camp is nothing new for me. In fact, it is something that has worked for me for the past two years. Other fighters are even trying this now, so this just puts me ahead of the game.

Personal Sacrifice: This year did not feel much like Christmas because I am so focused for January 29th. I don't really consider it a personal sacrifice because this is my job. I know what I have ahead of me. But my personality was not in the Christmas spirit like every other year and know that I had to set mind up for this. But even though this was the first Christmas I had to work, the real gift will be coming on Jan. 29th.
