Pacquiao Vs Mosley To Be Shown On Showtime/CBS, Not HBO!

Sergio Mora was landing pretty much at will on Mosley. What's he going to be like with a buzzsaw like Manny?

 

I don't know it's just a gut feeling. It would be terrible for the sport if MP lost. Rooting for Pac, but Mosley could do it.

 

I'd be surprised. Mosley's been huffing and puffing early doors in his last two fights. But who am I to question your knowledge and linguistic skills, Noam?

I agree with that, would like to see it happen more & it's pretty good for the fighters in question & the sport

 

Pac is gonna' decimate Mosley inside a few rounds. The 'tards will still say 'another opponent that Floyd softened up' but Mora showed how poor Shane has become as of late.

Pac is a special fighter and an ATG, he'll do what he does best and make quick work of him IMO. Shanes punch resistance is waning and that's one of the things that allowed him to make his style work. When Floyd is knocking Shane about, regardless of timing and accuracy, you know the man is past his best.

Fairly uncompelling fight IMO.

 

People criticize Bob a lot, but in my opinion, he's the best promoter in the business. Just look back at some of the awesome fights he's contributed towards. Even if you didn't agree with some of them, the hype and entertainment he manages to generate, is second to none.

I'm glad he's opted with a big :devil to HBO, because quite frankly, they've been pretty **** over the past year or so. Their commentating, choice of fights, treatment of fighters etc, has been bad. And I'm pretty certain Arum will make it a big success on Showtime, too. I don't know too much about TV coverage in the US, but if it's like Ishy on the previous page has said - CBS being a terrestial channel - then expect the countdown series to be even more effective than HBO's. It may not have the same hollywood-type vibe to it, but it'll certainly reach a larger audience and generate more interest.

Good on Bob, Showtime and CBS. This move does the sport as a whole, more good. Because on HBO, it seems boxing been an exclusive sport.
