    Berto gets whacked about but has some class, Alvarez ends up outlasting him,ends with a thudding 9th round KO

    Alvarez KO's Berto.

    We might just see this fight early 2012 or late 2011 I am sure HBO would like it if Canelo becomes a super star like they are hoping....


    HBO has invested in Canelo 2011 and he will be on HBO 4 times this year.

    I hope so but Alvarez looks like hes already making the move to JM.... Lets see if Berto could get by Oritz.

    Somebody's getting KO'd, both are easy to hit and have unproven chins...A toss up in my opinion. Canelo is about an inch taller (he is about 5'8, I remember when he first hit the scene he was claiming to be 5'11) and a few lbs heavier (he has trouble making 147 it seems).

    This would be a great match up after the Hatton fight.

    I have Berto carrying too much speed and winning by wide UD.

    Berto's probably too fast, but Alvarez would make it a war. Great idea for a future fight imo.

    ITs as close as i figured thats why i thought of this one 19-17-1 even so far for Alvarez... Right know this is pickem but in a year im gonna go with Alvarez by Ko just see him getting better and Berto is probably at his peak.

    Should be a very good fight...I'm not to sure who would win now but in a year or so I'll def go with Canelo. I jus think ryt now Berto has too much speed for Saul, I could be wrng though...

    Berto has an edge with his excellent speed, but I can see Canelo scoring a KO. Berto may have a questionable chin.

    I like Alvarez.... but if he was rocked that badly by Cotto then i think Berto can KO him. If the fight lasts a few rounds then Alvarez starts taking over with better fundamentals
