Sorry for another Haye thread, but i have to ask. Who should he fight? He can't fight Wlad because he has booked himself in for the rest of the year. Vitali is fighting solis next, so he won't be avaliable for at least 6 months. Haye has to fight someone, who would you go for? Me personally, i'd go for Areolla. It'd be big in LA, I think haye bashes him up, and Areolla is finally out of the conversation, it'd be good too because Haye would be fighting a younger guy than him who can punch and take a punch
Arreola-Haye would be very exciting, but Haye has demonstrated a tendency to avoid risky fights. His team seems interested in Mormeck or Rahman. But seriously, if Haye isn't afriad of Arreola, then this is the perfect fight. It would probably be picked up by HBO and a win would make Haye a huge star in America overnight. But more likely Haye's introduction to America will be a fight against Tarver or Hopkins.
Personally I don't think Areolla is risky, He will plod forward, throwing slow, wide, speculative punches, and Haye will be drilling him with right hands. I doubt it goes past 6 rounds. But yeah, you are right, probably won't happen
Mormeck went past 6, so why not Arreola? and i disagree that Arreola throws wide punches, actually its Haye.
Become a permanent member of loose women. Nah, I agree about the Arreola fight, that's the fight I would like to see (Apart from the Klits obviously), but I also doubt it will happen.
Haye should either fight a Klitschko or retire. I'm tired of his excuses. The prospect of a Mormeck fight is making me lose the last shreds of respect I have left for the guy. What a bullshitter.
he cant fight a klitschko for at least 6 months. He cant fight wlad at all because Wlad has booked his entire year in.
Up to this point, I've viewed Haye's choices of opponent at HW as building up to a fight with the Klits. Now that there's a strong possibility that neither Klit will be available before he retires, Haye should just retire now. There's no-one else out there that would give him a legacy at HW and he'll be a laughing stock if he loses to anyone else. Haye is a mouthy ******* but Wlad ****ed us all over this time, first with Chisora and now apparently he's signed up to Adamek. I was hopeful that Haye could get some special dispensation from the WBA to wait until Wlad-Chisora is done with, but either team Haye didn't ask for one or they wouldn't give it (still doesn't excuse Wlad wither way). I can see Haye taking on a couple of tomato cans before October for easy paydays, but if he's serious about a movie career, he should just quit now while he's undefeated at HW and still has his looks (no homo).
I'll be disappointed if he doesn't fight Carl Davis Drummond and Kali Meehan this year. We'll see how Bert Cooper gets on in his next fight too, that could be the ideal match for Haye.
