I always enjoy HBO. Showtime seems like a second hand network. HBO's production has been number one. Having said that I come to see fights not production. Could care less if its Telemundo doing a big fight. Pass year Showtime has been giving me my boxing fix. Plus I been enjoying their commentating latley, less bias. Plus Who would have tought I would start liking to see more of tarver.

Showtime has Shameless, and now they have Pacman too. So, showtime wins.

I like HBO's broadcast team better. The showtime team don't have any excitement in their voices. I also think that HBO has a much better overall broadcast. However, I think that showtime has been making better decisions, while HBO is dropping the ball.

HBO easily. Despite Jim Lampley getting over excited at times.

I'd prefer that over stale ass commentary like showtime gives.

On showtime a brawl could be happening and the commentators seems bored.

they give good technical commentary though, better than hearing old ass merchant spouting his cliches and lampley creaming his trunks over a good combination :lol:

I agree. HBO just adds to the athmosphere of a big fight. They get into it.

Showtime is more subdued and just doesn't feel the same. The Froch - Abraham fight was a good example. I enjoyed the British broadcast more because they got into it.

I like Showtime since they added Tarver and started the super 6, but I can't stand Farhood. Then again, I can't stand Lampley, and he has a bigger role.

with Pascal vs Hopkins just recently being on Showtime + the super 6 + Pacquiao + Bute, clear edge to Showtime.

showtime has better technical commentary, feels fresher and tends to be a bit less biased imo... they may not be as "exciting", but i appreciate their more professional approach
